Chapter 23: Searching for Will

Emma went inside to talk to Noah.
Natalie sat on the sidewalk and breathed in and out roughly. She tried not to cry but she did anyway. She closed her eyes and covered her them with her hands.
"Nat."
She looked up and saw Brooke with Jake. Brooke looked at Jake and left, going inside Noah's heaven.
Jake sat down next to her.
"What happened?"
"Will...he's been taken by the killer and Emma and Noah are trying to find him. What happens if we're to late..."
She started to cry in front of him and Jake held her hand.
"We'll find him. Alive and safe."
She smiles alittle and he rubbed the back of her hand. She looked up at him. They looked into eachothers eyes and started to lean in.
"GUYS!"
Brooke called from inside. The two of them backed up and got up. They ran inside.
"I'm going alone."
Emma said.
"No your not. One, it's not safe and two, we want to come with you...to find Will."
"I can't have you guys in risk because of me."
"We've made our chose Em."
Brooke added.
"We're all ready."
Jake looked and Noah.
"Wait...We?"

The 5 of them stood outside a building with its doors and windows boarded up.
"No signal but this is the place."
Noah said placing his phone by his side instead of in the air.
"Creepy building, phsyco killer okay time to weapon up."
Jake took his bag off his back and opened it.
"Alright I got a skinner and a gut hook."
"Wait why?"
Noah backed up away from Jake.
"To skin and gut things...duh"
Natalie laughed and Emmas phone started to ring.
"It's Kieran. One second."
She walked down the stairs and talked to Kieran.
"Hey Nat."
Jake whispered to her. They stepped to the side as Brooke and Noah pulled at the boarded doors.
"About umm...earlier with the almost-"
"Jake...it's okay. We'll talk about it later when we hang out. Okay?"
"Okay."
Emma ended her call and walked up the stairs.
"We need to find a way in..."
Brooke muttered.
"Okay. We'll search around."
"Cause that's a good idea."
Natalie said to Emma.
"I know but we need to find a way in and fast. Jake and Nat go that way and the 3 of us will go this way."
"Alright meet back here If we find anything."
"Oh and take this."
Jake handed the gut hook to Emma.
"Thanks."
Emma and Brooke turned and Noah and Nat looked at eachother.
"Stay safe...don't die please."
Nat said to him.
"You too Nat. See you at the end."
"Let's shake and Jake people!"
Jake and Natalie went to the right alley and the others went to the left.
Jake tightened his grip to the knife he was holding.
"Jake...relax."
"Right..."
They walked down to a set of double doors.
"We don't even know if this is the right place."
"Noah said it is."
"Exactly."
Nat shook her head.
"You think Noah's the killer?"
"I'm just saying. I know he's your brother but there's always that shy little nerd on the cops shows that nobody expects."
"You know how stupid you sound?"
Jake walked up the stairs to the double doors.
"9 times out of ten it's that guy. He's usually sweet, funny and uber smart."
"That takes you off my list."
Nat makes holds up her hand and makes a down and up movement like she cheked something off and she laughs.
"Or am I?"
He pulls at the door and keeps pulling on it.
Natalie shakes her head and turns around, walking the other way.
"Stupid doors!"
Jake yells and Natalie laughs.

"Jake come on!"
She enters the builing and Jake pushes the door open to let him enter.
"You can't rush the Jake."
She swings her arm into his stomach and he groans.
"You deserve that."
"I guess I do."
They keep walking, they saw Emma, Brooke and Noah further into the building.
"Thanks for meeting up and going in together."
"Sorry."
They walked and saw it was an abandoned bowling alley.
"Damn that jaguar on the wall. That's pretty good."
All of a sudden a crash sound Is heard on one of the bowling alleys. They look and see a bowling ball rolling down.
"I'm having second thoughts on going to play bowling ever again."
Natalie says.
"That was creepy and it smells awful in here."
Brooke includes.
"This is a big place we should split up."
Everyone looks at Jake.
"Says every person who doesn't survive in movies ever!"
Noah says.
"Us three will go this way and you two will go that way."
"This is a bad idea but whatever."
They split up to search the building.
