Chapter 6: Game Play

Audrey walked up to them and smiled. "Come sit audrey."
Audrey sat next to Natalie and Nat looked at the opposite team. Her eyes widened and she froze.
"Oh shit."
She covered her face with her hands.
"Whats wrong Nat?"
"You know number 7 on the blue team."
Emma and Audrey looks up and sees the enemy team. Then Jake runs up to Natalie and takes her hands out of her face.
"You gotta move those to watch us."
"Hmmm."
"Whats the matter?"
Jake looks at her.
"NATALIE!"
"Oh god."
A man in blue with a 7 on his jersey runs up to them.
"Heyyy..."
"Who's this?"
Jake points at the player.
"I'm Tom...Tom Killian."
"And how to you know Natalie?"
"She's my girlfriend."
Natalie bits her lips and looks at Jake. He didn't look happy. He nodded.
"Okay. See ya."
"Jake..."
He jogs away and Tom stands in front of her.
"Whats with Him?"
"That's Jake..."
"Oh... I have to go play. I'll see you after okay."
Tom leans in and kisses her cheek. He runs away and Emma just looks at Natalie.
"What was that?" Audrey said.
"Hes been by boyfriend for about 4 months, he was nice to me at a party and we kept hanging out and then yeah. I don't like talking about him cause ya know, he's on the enemy team! and plus I didn't want to make a big deal over it."
Emma and Audrey started to laugh. "What are you laughing at!"
"You and your boy drama."
They just kept laughing and laughing.
"Stop it!"
"GAME ON!"
They finally stopped and the school started the game.

*Time later.*

"WOOOO"
People cheered and clapped there hands.

They won and Natalie jumped into the air and clapped her hands.
All of a sudden people in the team started to push.
Jake and Tom were pushing eachother. Natalie grabbed her bag and ran down into the court. She pushes through people and dives in between them.
"What do you think you two are doing!"
"He hit me!"
"You pushed me!"
"OKAY!"
Natalie yells. Everyone around stops and looks.
"You two sound like 5 year old kids who just got into a fight. What is this about!"
"YOU!"
People from both basketball teams yell.
"What?"
"He said something about you."
Jake pointed out.
"What did he say?"
"I said nothing! He said something!"
"What!"
"He said dirty things!"
Tom said.
"Well that's Jake for ya!"
Will muttered in the group around them. Natalie glared at him and breathed in and out.
"And what did he say?"
"He said that your a..."
"A?"
"Slut. And the sluts his."
Natalie looked at Tom.
"I didn't say that!"
"Alright I'm done..."
Natalie pushed through the crowd and Audrey, Brooke and Emma ran to me.
"What happened?"
Brooke asked.
"Guys...why do I even try."
"Nat!"
Jake turned Natalie around to face him, holding her right hand.
"I didn't say anything dirty about you. I would never do that."
"He would never say that about me. I know Tom...did he actually say that?"
"Yes. I wouldn't lie to you!"
"I don't know Jake...Im gonna go. Good job with the game though."
She let's go of his hand and Jake watches as she leaves with Emma, Brooke and Audrey.

*At 10 at night.*

Natalie lays on her bed, looking into her phone when something bashes on the window. She jumps and drops her phone. She gets up and looks at the window. She slowly turns her lampshade on and looks through the window. She sees rocks being thrown at it. She opens it and a rock hits her forehead.
"Ow. What the hell!"
She looks out and sees a male standing under her window.
"Sorry!"
She focused on the boy.
"Jake?"
"Yeah. Can I come in!"
"It's 10 o'clock. Why?"
"Please."
"Fine. Climb through here. Noah's sleeping."
Natalie opens it more and Jake wiggles through.
"What do you want?"
"I wanted to come and say sorry."
"Why."
"For the thing that happened at the game."
"Jake...I honestly don't care anymore. You said sorry and I forgive ya."
"Has Tom said sorry."
"Over text yeah."
"Okay. See the difference between us. I come and see you and say sorry and he says sorry over text."
"Okay? Jake. Do you have a problem with me dating Tom?"
His face sinkens and he looks at her.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Cause you deserve better than that!"
"Jake! Hes a great boyfriend. Hes just mad cause of you!"
"Why?"
"Cause I've told him so many things about you. Hes jealous and you are too."
"Okay! I am. Atleast I admit it!"
"Jake...I need you to leave."
"Whats with the racket in there!"
Noah calls out.
"NOTHING Noah! Just about to go bed."
"Nat."
"No...please get out."
"No."
"What?"
"No!"
"Jake just go. It's late. I'll see you tomorrow."
He turns and jumps out of the window. Natalie watches as Jake runs to his car in anger and drives off.
She shuts her window and lays back in bed. She grabs her phone to see a message from an unknown person.
She opens it and reads it.
"NOAH!"
Noah runs into her room, panicking.
"Read this."
She lifts her phone to his face and he reads it.
"Hello Natalie. Better start keeping your friends close instead of pushing them away or someones gonna get the chopping block. Night night."
Noah looks at Natalie.
"What the?"
