"It's not going to fit."
"Yes it will, just give me a second."
"Seriously, I'm not kidding Liam, it just won't fit."
"Just relax will you, you tensing up isn't helping this situation."
Rowen dropped her end of the lounge; folding her arms over her chest she raised a brow at him. Liam looked up at her with a small smirk on his face. They made eye contact and burst into laughter. Rowen took a deep breath and let out a long sigh calming herself down. Liam smiled at her, thinking of the light in her eyes, a light that hadn't gone out after what had happened.
"That sounded so bad." she giggled.
"I know." Liam wiggled his eyebrows at her making her laugh again.
He loved the sound. She used to giggle softly, but her belly laugh was contagious. Even the stone hard men that he had guarding her would crack a smile when she laughed loudly. When she had gotten herself under control Liam rested his hands on the arm of the lounge and tipped his head.
"Do we really need to do this ourselves?" he asked, knowing he sounded like a spoiled brat.
"Yes Liam," she sighed shaking her head. "You can't get your men to do everything for you. At least if we do it ourselves it will go where we want it." she finished with a nod, rubbing her hands together.
"You mean where you want it?" Liam chucked when she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Yes, fine where I want it." she bent to lift the lounge. "Now put those muscles to good use and get to lifting. And maybe this time you can listen to me so we can fit this through the door."
Liam didn't argue and bent down to pick up his end. He did listen to her this time, and the lounge fit through the door to their bedroom easily. He ignored her smug smile while he walked backwards into the room and put the lounge where she wanted it.
Their bedroom was huge, so she decided to split it into two sections. A sitting area with a cosy lounge and a little coffee table and their sleeping area which had a massive king size bed with grey covers. Liam did have to admit that his woman had a good eye for furniture and could put a room together well. He loved whatever she put together, and he wasn't being biased either.
His mother had said more than once that she was going to buy a new house and get Rowen to come in and style it. No one else would listen to Maria when she wanted something done a different way to what was in the style magazines and Maria never wanted what everyone else had.
Liam was smiling at her when she was fluffing pillows, then his eyes darted to the bed. His smiled widened when he calculated the distance from where she was standing to where the bed was. He knew he could toss her and she would make it, but she would scream that's for sure.
He sent a quick text to his men telling them to stay put. He knew that they would come running when Rowen screamed and he really didn't want them to interrupt what he had planned for his woman.
Once Liam got the reply from his men, he rushed Rowen. She screamed loudly when Liam lifted her by her hips and tossed her towards the bed, letting her fly for a few seconds before she hit the soft bed and bounced up it.
She went to yell at him, but he jumped at her making her scream again. Liam laughed as he bounced up the bed next to her, throwing an arm over her stomach and pulling her towards him. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and an equally wide smile on her face.
"I love you." she sighed, snuggling into his side.
He tipped her head up, his fingers under her chin lifting it gently until she was looking at him. He searched her eyes looking for a sign from her that she wasn't ready for this. He let his intentions known when he kissed her. His tongue easing its way into her mouth with no fight at all. Her moan was low, almost vibrating in his own chest.
