Maya's Recording Studio

After Cory's discussion with Josh and Maya.

Cory's POV

Topanga, Riley, Auggie, Shawn and I walked to Katy and Maya's apartment for dinner.

Auggie was playing video games on his phone while he was walking. He walked into a pole. Twice.

We finally arrived at Maya's apartment.

"Hayy y'all!" Yelled Katy excitedly.

"Hey babe." said Shawn. He kissed her and Maya and I said "eeewwww" at the same time.

We went to the kitchen to have dinner.

"Mom, I'm not very hungry. Can I go to my room?" Maya asked.

"Of course baby girl." said Katy.

Maya left to go to her room.

Maya's POV

It's not that I wasn't hungry, I just felt like singing. A little while ago, Shawn discovered my talent. He caught me singing in my room and told me I had a good voice. He got me some gear to record my music with. I posted my covers and original songs on YouTube. After recording my song "Eyes Wide Open" and posting it, I got a ton of subscribers.

I walked to my room to record a song. I set up my gear to record my new song "Two Young Hearts".

Josh's POV

I decided to check on Maya. She had her recording station set up. She was going to sing! I've been longing to hear her beautiful voice ever since I found out she sings!

I walked down the hall to Maya's room. The family thinks I'm using the bathroom. Yeah, I lied. But It'll be worth it.

I leaned on the doorpost as she began to sing.

I recognized the lyrics. It was the song 'Two Young Hearts'. I had read it in her writing journal that I 'accidently' read. I know all of the lyrics... Not that I was waiting for something like this to happen...

Topanga's POV

I saw Uncle Josh follow Maya to her room instead of the bathroom. Oh boy.

I decided to follow him following her to make sure there wasn't any funny business going on.

When I got to her room, I saw Josh leaning up against the doorpost.

She had all of the equipment for recording a song ready.

She obviously had no idea he was standing there.

I knew this was gonna be good, so I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and hit 'record'.

She began to sing.

(Play the song at the top)

Josh suddenly stepped forward and began to sing. (Bold=Josh)

Josh leaned in and kissed her.

It was a little weird that Josh knew all of the lyrics, but hey, maybe she told him, showed him, or something else. They harmonized PERFECTLY.

IT WAS SO CUTE! I couldn't help but squeal... out loud. Whoopsie.

"What the?!" Josh and Maya broke their kiss and looked at me in shock and surprise.

"SORRY!" I yelled and scurried out of the room.
