"So, what happened to you guys, when you got back here?" Thomas asked as they sat down and ate their dinner.
"Well, I tried to get away of course at first but Teresa kept on stopping me which I didn't listen at first but when Gally came into the picture. I stayed put, here that is. We were then explained everything, from Gally being controlled to Teresa's betrayal to us" Minho explained
"Then I got told something the day after, I was by myself when Janson grabbed me by the arm and said that he'd give me a job to do. When he mentioned you guys and that I had to spy on you and get you back here, I refused. Minho had explained everything to me about you guys, especially you Thomas. That's when he reminded me about Newt and said 'if you don't bring back here, we can't help him. Also if you don't do it, you can say bye bye to Minho' I couldn't let that happen, to both of you. I really think that guys messed up in the head" Gally concluded
"I'll say" Aris agreed
"But, what are they going to do? How can they help me?" Newt asked
"They said they were down to two candidates remember, well, that's Teresa and Thomas" Minho said
"Candidates, what do you mean candidates?" Thomas asked confusion taking over his mind.
"To find the cure, there's one person who can finish the cure off" Teresa added
"So, wait, take it back a step, me or you could save, everyone?"
"Yeah"
"But, if they were down to two, why were they still harvesting teens? Doesn't this seem fishy to you guys?"
"I think Thomas has a point there" Frypan said "why would they still do it?"
"Plus, they were going to kill us anyway"
"This is confusing my brain, can we change the subject for a bit because, I cannot think straight with all this" Newt said putting s fingers on his forehead.
"Ok sorry Newt and yeah, that would be a better idea, for you especially" Teresa said
"may I ask why?"
"Thinking and using your brain progresses The Flare and you've done a lot of thinking for three years"
"Right ok"
"Well what now?" Gally asked
"If I'm not the only one, I'm tired so, I think going to bed would be the smartest idea, we can continue in the morning" Minho said
"Good that" Thomas said as they exited the cafeteria no into their dorms and as soon as their heads hit the pillows they were out cold.
