Chapter Seven
Lola's Point of View
I scream loudly as the cold water from the hose squirts me in my side. I run around the shed panting, a huge smile encompassing my cheeks. I can hear Harry's laughter fill the yard as he walks around trying to find me.
"Lola!" He calls out. " The hose is getting lonely.." I try my best to hold in my giggle, but a small snort escapes my lips. I can imagine his smile from here, dimples lighting up his cheeks as he realizes where I am--
"Gotcha!" Harry exclaims before squirting the ice cold water all over me.
We run around the yard for another couple of minutes before soft shivers begin to shake my shoulders. My teeth clink together and Harry hears the sound, turning to look at me.
"Are you getting cold love?"
I nod.
"C'mon then, let's head inside." He walks over to me, dropping the hose and putting an arm around my shoulder. "Wouldn't want my bun getting cold." He smiles, looking once into my eyes and then down at my stomach where my barely distinguisable baby bump is. I lean to kiss him, but right before I can, an ice cold shock of water is squirted onto my head.
"Harry!" I shriek.
His bellowing laughter fills my ears and I pretend to be mad at him for a few seconds before joining him.

Cadence's Point of View
We walk inside and I bite my lip. Am I really about to let some random stranger into the back room with me? Someone who could easily take advantage of me?...I mean I do have a daughter to think about--
"Lead the way." He says, interrupting my thoughts and nodding me forward. I swallow the lump of apprehension in my throat and continue through the cafe.
"So.." I say gesturing towards him, hoping he'll get the hint and tell me his name. He does.
"Liam."
"Right, Liam. Why exactly were you being pummeled into the concrete out there?" We come across a door that reads 'Emplyees Only' and I use my key to unlock it.
"What makes you think there was a reason?"
"Well, from my experience there is almost always a reason behind the things that we do, or the things that are done to us."
" I would love to tell you..but I'm afraid thats classified." He winks at me. I sigh and lead him to the counter where he sits on the surface. I bend down to get the antiseptic and some cotton balls from the cabinet. WHen I find the first aid kit I pull them out and put them on the counter. I dab some of the antiseptic onto the ball and stand on tip-toe to reach his face.
"This might-- scratch that-- will, sting." I say before pressing the swab to his cheek. He sucks in a breath and I look at him sympethetically.
"Sorry.." I say.
"It's fine...uh.."
"Cade." I smile, looking into his deep brown eyes.
"Cade? What's it short for?"
"How do you know it's short for something? It could just be--"
My phone rings. Sighing I step away from Liam and pull it out of my pocket. ' Stylish:) ' it says. Harry. Why is he calling me? I hit ignore and push the phone back into my pocket.
