"Hello?" Pt. 2

"Where are you?!"

"Why are you whispering?"

"Because I'm hiding."

"What, why?"

"Guess who is here?"

"Clients?"

"No, I'm not at work anymore. I'm at home." 

"Why are you home?"

"I'll explain later. Now, guess who is here? At our house."

"God, not Peeves."

"Who is Peeves?"

"The poltergeist."

"What poltergeist?"

"Um... never mind. I'm guessing it's not Peeves."

"What poltergeist, Sophie?"

"Peeves. He lives in the attic room of the house."

"What have you been smoking?"

"Funny. You know my house is super old, right? Dated back to the eighteen-hundreds. Well, apparently, someone died in the house and now their spirit looms over us. I assumed it's a man and named him Peeves. After the poltergeist in the Harry Potter books."

"I'm not even going to rationalise your thinking about that."

"Ok. So, if it's not Peeves that's there with you, then who is?"

"One guess."

"To be fair, I maxed out that one guess when I named Peeves."

"Fine. Two guesses. You've used one."

"Keira?"

"Bingo, baby."

"Isn't she a little early. I thought it was tomorrow they were all flying over."

"They are all flying over tomorrow. Keira and Logan, however, decided that they wanted to come earlier than planned."

"Pesky teenagers."

"Exactly! Shit, I said that too loud. They're going to guess that I'm on the phone."

"Where are you hiding?"

"The downstairs loo."

"And how long have you been in the downstairs loo?"

"About three minutes."

"They're probably guessing that you're doing something else in the bathroom."

"Oh... there's that possibility, too. But, Sophie, what am I supposed to dow ith them until you're back?"

"Go back to work?"

"I can't go back. Keira called me out of work so I could come and let her into the house and I can't leave them unsupervised. They might have sex in every room of the house."

"Gross mental image over here."

"Wait until you see the two of them together. They're sickening."

"Even more so than us?"

"Yes."

"Bastards. How dare they steal our Sickeningly In Love crown?!"

"I know! By the way, Keira is acting very weird."

"Everything about Keira is weird."

"No, she's being very weird. Weirder than usual."
