"Andrea? Don't tell me you're mad at me because I haven't been answering your calls"

I blinked twice, trying to bring my head back from where it was and back to reality, for my vision to completely focus back on Brady's frowning face.

"Of course not" I finally replied with a shake of my head.

"Then what is it?" He asked.

I really didn't know myself what it was I should tell him, because frankly I myself didn't know exactly what I found that other day. I mentally sighed in relief though when Julia's angry looking figure came stomping her way towards our table.

It was Monday and we were currently in the school's cafeteria, having lunch. Well, I was only moving my pasta around the plate with the fork, while Brady devoured his lunch in mere seconds.

Both me and Brady flinched slightly when Julia reached our table, slamming down her tray on the table before taking a seat beside me. Not once looking up as she started stabbing her food with the fork, obviously something was bothering her.

"What's wrong?" I finally asked when tension mixed with silence was the only thing surrounding us.

"Stupid Brittany and her stupid little minions, stupid boys and just stupid everything and everyone" she spat, venom laced with every word that left her lips.

"What did they do this time?" Brady asked, his arms crossed over his chest as a frown took over his face.

I frowned in response as well, from what his question sounded, it almost seemed like this might not be the first time they've had a similar conversation. Making me wonder if their relationship was purely based on only sex or if maybe there was more to it that neither of them liked to show.

"They bluntly called me a whore, and for what? It's only you I'm sleeping with!"

That made me choke on literally thin air, I don't think there's anyone who'd want to hear from a friend that she's sleeping with her best friend.

"Alright...I'll leave you guys to...yeah, I'm just going"

I picked up my still untouched tray of food and started making my way out the cafeteria. Great, now where am I supposed to finish this lunch that I don't even have an appetite for?

I was trying so hard to focus, I really was. I tried to focus on finishing my homework and to do my best to avoid the papers lying in my drawer.

Alright, so I ended up getting distracted and abandoning my homework piled up ontop of my desk. I couldn't bring myself to focus no matter how much prep talk I've mentally given myself. I just had to open that file I found up there.

So you sure you wanna know what happened after that I pulled out the dark blue book? Well, that noise that sounded was-believe it or not-the bookshelf moving to reveal a door behind it. Of course that got me frozen in my spot for I'm not really sure how long. But when my body decided to come back to life again, and actually moved. I found myself in a medium sized room, with absolutely nothing in it, nothing but an old looking rectangular wooden box.

The room looked old, like really old. Remember that gold necklace? Turns out that the 'A' hanging from it was actually a 'key' to unlock the locked wooden box. So with shaky hands, I had managed to unlock the box and push it open to reveal alot of things filling it up. All that my eyes managed to catch though was that folder I snatched and an album, I don't quite remember what else was in there.

It was only when I heard the front door open and the voices of my mother and Maria coming from downstairs, that I quickly moved to action and grabbed the first thing my hand reached. Which was the folder currently lying down before me on my bed as I sit crossleged before it.
