Finn unfolded a parachute from the dropship and ushered the others under it. They crowded together, Thea squeezed between Bellamy and Finn as they waited. And waited some more. And some more.
Finally Thea had had enough. As the others discussed this situation, she rolled her eyes and poked her head out.
"Thea!" Finn scolded, trying to pull her back under.
By now, Bellamy had also come out and seen the same thing she had, "There's no fog," he announced.
"Maybe it was a false alarm," Finn suggested as they all emerged from under the makeshift tent.
Thea noticed a rustling in the trees and smacked Bellamy in the arm to get him to look.
"Ow! What was that fo-"
Thea pointed towards the trees, "They're coming back," she told the group.
Jasper who stood next to Thea, looked around, "I think he's alone." He stated.
"Now can we run?" Monroe asked in a terrified whisper.
"He doesn't see us," Bellamy said, "I'm going after him.
"And what?" Finn asked, "Kill him?"
"No, catch him," Bellamy replied, "Make him tell me where Octavia is. Then kill him."
"How do we know he's not leading us into another trap?" Jasper whispered.
"We don't," Finn replied as he followed after Bellamy.
They followed the grounder for a while before he disappeared.
"Where'd he go?" Thea asked, slightly out of breath from running through the rough terrain for so long.
As they got closer, her question was answered. There was an entrance to a cave. The grounder must have slipped into it while they were still a ways back.
"Let's go," Bellamy ordered.
Thea sighed before following behind Jasper as he followed Bellamy into the dark cave.
Suddenly, from in front of her, Thea heard Bellamy say Octavia's name in relief.
As she came forward she saw the girl herself, chained to the cave wall and Bellamy already helping her get free.
"Monroe, watch the entrance." Bellamy commanded.
Octavia launched herself into her brothers arms. They held on to each other for a moment before Octavia stood up, launching herself at Jasper next.
"How did you find me?" she asked, turning to give Thea a hug as well.
"Followed him," Jasper answered her question, gesturing to the unconscious grounder.
"We should go, now," Octavia said, before he wakes up."
"He's not gonna wake up," Bellamy grabbed his spear.
"Bellamy, stop. He didn't hurt me let's just go." Octavia pleaded with him.
"They started this. Finn, move," Bellamy growled at Finn who was crouched down looking at the unconscious grounder.
Finn seemed to be looking at something that the grounder had strapped to his belt.
She barely heard him mutter, "Foghorn," before all hell broke loose.
