After making sure Thea was okay and catching his breath, Bellamy went after Murphy. But it was too late. By the time they had gotten through the blockade Murphy had made, he was long gone, having used their remaining gunpowder to blow a hole in the side of the ship.

There was a commotion outside and Octavia helped an insistent Thea out to see what was going on. Bellamy and Jasper rushed out after them.

Clarke and Finn had returned. Everyone gathered around the two as multiple questions were thrown at them.

"Hey, we heard an explosion. What happened?" Clarke asked.

Then Clarke's eyes drifted to Thea, blood running down the girl's leg and sweat dripping down her pale face.

"What happened to Thea? Is she okay?" Clarke asked Bellamy.

"Murphy happened," Bellamy explained.

Jasper rushed forward, wrapping Clarke in a hug, "Thank god. Where have you been? Where's Monty?"

Thea's eyes widened in alarm as she realized that Monty wasn't with the two.

"Monty's gone?" Clarke asked, confirming Thea's fears.

Before anyone else could speak, Finn interrupted. "Clarke, we need to leave now. All of us do. There's an army of Grounders, unlike anything we've ever seen, coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run."

Bellamy shook his head, "Like hell we do. We knew this was coming."

Jasper helped Thea stand as Octavia stepped forward. "Bell, we're not prepared," she said.

"And they're not here yet. We still have time to get ready. Besides, where would we go? Where would we be safer than behind these walls?"

"There's an ocean to the east," Finn responded. "People there will help us."

"You saw Lincoln," Octavia realized.

Finn confirmed her statement with a nod as Bellamy spoke again.

"You expect us to trust a Grounder?"

Octavia looked at him angrily but she didn't have time to speak before he continued.

"This is our home now. We built this from nothing with our bare hands. Our dead are buried behind that wall, in this ground! Our ground!" Bellamys voice has gotten louder, still hoarse from having been strangled recently. "The Grounders think they can take that away. They think that because we came from the sky, we don't belong here. But they're yet to realize one very important fact: we are on the ground now, and that means we are Grounders!"

There was a chorus of yells in agreement.

"Grounders with guns," someone in the crowd yelled.

"Damn right! I say let 'em come!"

Clarke marched forward as Bellamy finished speaking.

"Bellamy's right," the blonde girl started.

"Come again?" Thea muttered.

"If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. And God knows, in this world, we could be faced with something even worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact–"

"Here it is," Thea said, realizing Clarke was about to counter Bellamy's point.

"–that if we stay here, we will die tonight. So pack your things. Just take what you can carry. Now."

Everyone rushed to follow Clarke's instructions, leaving a small group standing behind. Jasper helped Thea limp forward towards Bellamy as Clarke turned to them.

Suddenly, a pained cry interrupted the impending argument between Bellamy and Clarke.

"Help me!"

Raven had been shot and was badly injured. Thea was struggling to bite back the pain as she helped gather everyone by the gates. They were leaving. Leaving the only home they had known on this earth. And the Grounders were coming.

As what was left of the hundred filed out the gate, Thea stood waiting for Bellamy and Clarke who were lagging behind. Bellamy put out their campfire and the two made their way after the others, Bellamy helping support Thea as she limped on her injured leg.

After walking for a while, the group suddenly came to a stop. Thea was near the front of the group with Jasper and Octavia. She watched Octavia closely as the girl looked around, sensing something was off.

It was quiet for a moment before a whooshing sound approached them. A spiral blade flew through the air, impaling a boy in the face. Chaos erupted. People began to run back the way they had come, shoving others out of the way in a desperate attempt to reach safety.

Jasper helped Thea run as they sprinted back to their camp. They reached the gates without any more fatalities but Thea knew the Grounders were right behind them.

They were too late. It had begun. Now they would have to fight.
