"Two days to move all these people and pack up all our things? And where are we supposed to go?" Thea asked, running a hand over her face.

"Yeah, but what other choice do we have?" Raven muttered.

They were standing in a crowd of restless people gathered around the Ark. Inside, Abby and Jaha were having a meeting.

Finally, the two emerged. Jaha's wounds had been cleaned and stitched up but he still looked like he had fallen down a cliff and got beaten by an entire army.

"By now, you've all heard the rumor," Abby began. "And unfortunately, it's true. The Grounders are coming."

Muttering broke out among the crowd.

"We have a difficult decision to make. Thankfully, Chancellor Jaha has found his way back to us. And we're discussing all options."

More muttering and Thea glanced around nervously.

"But to be safe, you need to pack. Now," Jaha ordered. "Whatever you can carry. We may need to leave at a moment's notice."

Judging by Abby's face, this was not what they had discussed.

"Where will we go?" a man from the crowd asked.

"I don't know, is the answer," Jaha replied.

"Way to instill confidence," Thea muttered.

"But I heard of a place. A city of light. It's across the Dead Zone."

"Sounds like the place Jasper and Monty were at when they got arrested back on the Ark," Thea muttered.

Raven snorted and Finn held back a smile. Jasper and Monty had been arrested for growing and using certain drugs to get high back on the Ark.

"What makes you think we'll make it there?" Another man shouted at Jaha.

"Because we made it here."

"Not all of us," Thea said quietly.

"I have faith," Jaha looked straight at the girl as if he had heard her.

Thea gave him a cold stare.

"And right now, given the alternative, that's good enough for me."

Thea glanced at Clarke, knowing she wouldn't be able to keep quiet for long.

"Not for us."

"Whoop, called it," Thea breathed out.

Everyone turned towards he blonde girl.

"If we leave, what happens to our people in Mount Weather?"

"As your mother said," Jaha gave to girl a glare, "that is a very difficult decision to make. But the time has come for each and every one of us to ask; is this how the story of our people ends?"

Thea scowled at the man as he continued speaking.

"Did we come all this way just to die tomorrow? Because if we're not gone by the time that sun rises, that is exactly what will happen?"

The muttering of the crowd grew louder.

"No decision's been made," Abby attempted to get the situation back under control. "In the meantime, please report to your station supervisor and gather emergency supplies."

The crowd began to disperse and Abby turned to go back inside, Jaha behind her.

Thea started forward, towards where the Chancellor and former chancellor had disappeared. She planned to give Jaha a piece of her mind.
