Thea awoke later that night to the sound of Jasper moaning in pain.

"Ow," she gasped, sitting upright against the drop ship wall, feeling a stinging sensation in her arm.

"Sorry," said Clarke from her position by Thea's side. She had tended to her wound while the girl was asleep and was now wrapping it tightly to keep it from bleeding.

When Clarke was finished, Thea carefully crawled over to Jasper to see how he was doing.

"How is he?" she asked Clarke, worry clear in her voice.

Clarke didn't respond, looking down before announcing that she was going to get clean water and telling Monty to keep an eye on the two.

Monty joined Thea beside Jasper as she stroked his damp hair away from his forehead.

"You're gonna be okay," she whispered to the unconscious boy as Monty wrapped an arm around the girl's shoulder.

She sent a small smile in his direction before leaning back against the wall and once again falling into a restless sleep.

The next morning, as Thea made her way out of the drop ship, she breathed in the fresh air.

She could still hear Jasper's moans coming from inside the ship but she ignored them, knowing that there was nothing she could do for the boy right now.

She sat in the tall grass with her legs out in front of her and her uninjured arm behind her, supporting her weight. For a moment, it was peaceful as she once again took in the beautiful sight of the forest around her.

Her moment was cut short however, when Jasper's screams intensified suddenly. She jumped to her feet, running as fast as she could into the dropship and up the ladder.

"What's happening?" she demanded as she saw Finn and Wells holding Jasper down as Clarke cut away at his skin with a knife.

Suddenly, Octavia joined the group, panicking when she saw the scene in front of her.

"Stop it! You're killing him," she yelled, running forward.

"She's trying to save his life." Finn responded.

"She can't," a voice spoke.

Thea rolled her eyes.

"Well, look who decided to join the party," she sneered at Bellamy as he came up the ladder.

"I don't know if you've noticed, but we're kinda busy here so why don't you go find your little pack of bitches and find something useful to do."

Wells came forwards and grabbed her arm, pulling her away.

"Back off," he commanded as he stepped closer to the dark-haired boy.

"We didn't drag him through miles of woods just to let him die," Clarke said as she continued to focus on cleaning Jasper's wound.

"Kid's a goner. If you can't see that, you're deluded."

"That's it," Thea growled, stepping around Wells to get at Bellamy.

Wells grabbed her arm, holding her back as Bellamy continued.

"He's making people crazy."

"Sorry if Jasper's an inconvenience to you, but this isn't the Ark. Down here every life matters," Thea sneered at the boy, trying to step closer, out of Wells' grip.

"Take a look at him," Bellamy said darkly, "he's a lost cause."

"Get out," Thea growled, her face livid as she took another step closer.

"Octavia, I spent my whole life watching my mother heal people. If I say there's hope, there's hope." Clarke spoke, trying to reassure the other girl.

"This isn't about hope," Bellamy interjected, "It's about guts. You don't have the guts to make the hard choices. I do. He's been like this for three days. If he's not better by tomorrow, I'll kill him myself."

"I said, get out," Thea raised her voice.

When Bellamy only smirked at her, she lost her cool completely.

"Out!" she screamed, "Get the hell out!"

Bellamy just smirked again, turning to go.

"Octavia, let's go." he demanded.

"I'm staying here," was the girls response.

Thea sent a small smile her way before slamming the hatch behind Bellamy's retreating figure.

"Power hungry, self-serving jackass," Monty muttered under his breath, "Doesn't care about anyone but himself."

Thea snorted, fully agreeing with this statement when Monty spoke again, looking towards Octavia, "No offense."

Octavia simply shrugged her shoulders and went back to looking at Jasper.

Suddenly, Finn spoke up from the corner, "Yeah. Bellamy is all of that. But he's also right."

Thea looked up, along with the others, shocked at the boy's words.

Thea stood up, "You," she pointed at the offending boy, "Out," she demanded, earning surprised glances form the others.

Finn just gave her a quizzical look and she took another step towards him.

"You heard me Spacewalker. I said. Get. Out. Now." she paused between each word, making sure he understood her.

The boy simply shrugged before climbing down the ladder and out of sight.
