Grounders had surrounded the camp. Thea could only hope that Clarke's genius plan was going to work.
As more and more grounders appeared, their torches flaming in the darkness, the tension within the camp grew.
Thea paced outside the door where Clarke was having a meeting with her mother and Jaha. Thea had been furious when they told her to wait outside but she had no choice if she didn't want to cause a delay in the already too little amount of time they had.
So she paced back and forth, waiting to hear what decision had been made. Finally, the door opened and two guards led Jaha out, making sure he didn't pull away from them as they led him towards the cells. Thea smirked. At least something had gone right in there.
Clarke emerged next, nodding to Thea when the girl gave her a questioning look.
"Thea, I need you and Finn to take my mom to Lincoln. I'm going to meet with the commander."
Thea sighed but she knew it was no use arguing.
"Good luck," she told Clarke.
The girl nodded and Thea and Finn set off towards the exit, Abby following behind them.

Thea, Finn and Abby arrived at the dropship after leaving Clarke to confront the grounders alone. Thea couldn't help but feel a sense of dread looming over her as they had silently walked through the woods.
Finn pushed open the hatch and climbed onto the level where Lincoln was. Thea and Abby followed.
"Oh thank god," Octavia muttered. "Where's Clarke?"
"Trying to stop a war," Finn replied.
Thea looked at Bellamy who tried to give her a reassuring nod. But she wasn't convinced. Lincoln was shivering despite the sweat that soaked his body, his face pale and his eyes closed. He looked like he was dying.
Abby knelt down beside the man, opening one of his eyes to see that it was bloodshot.
"Pupils are unresponsive," Abby said. "Tie off his arm. As tight as you can."
Octavia quickly tied a band around Lincoln's arm.
"Thanks to the supplies your brother found, Lincoln might have a chance," Abby told Octavia, pulling out a syringe and filling it with liquid.
"What's that?" Octavia asked.
"This will bring down his fever."
Abby inserted the needle into the man's arm and he convulsed. Thea quickly dropped beside Octavia, helping her hold him down.
"Hold him down," Abby instructed.
Lincoln yelled out, his body shaking.
"What's happening?" Octavia asked. "Why isn't it working?"
"His heart stopped," was the only thing Abby said.
Thea's stomach dropped as Abby started doing compressions on Lincoln's chest.
She stood up, feeling completely useless as Abby continued trying to save Lincoln's life. Bellamy stood as well, wrapping his arms around Thea as she tried to hold back tears. Lincoln had done so much to help them, even risking his life against his own people. And now they couldn't even save him.
Abby stopped, sitting back on her heels.
"You're stopping. What's wrong?" Octavia asked tearfully.
"I'm sorry," Abby paused. "He's gone."
"No, it's not possible. You're wrong," Octavia said frantically, beginning compressions again.
