"I'm fine I swear!"
"Thea, you barely escaped that fire. You have second degree burns on your hands and you passed out from smoke inhalation. You can't come."
Clarke was arguing with a stubborn Thea who insisted she was fine enough to go out on a hunting trip. She was desperate to get out of the dropship, a place she had spent too much time lying injured in for her liking.
Bellamy walked over, "What's the hold up?"
Clarke gestured to the injured girl, "Thea wants to go hunting with us."
Clarke looked smug as Thea scowled at her. She knew Bellamy wouldn't hear of letting her go anywhere in her condition.
"Absolutely not," Bellamy confirmed. "You're staying here to rest and heal. Besides, we have enough people coming with us. You might be needed here."
Thea knew that was a lie to make her feel better about staying behind but she sighed, too exhausted to argue. Bellamy placed a hand on her shoulder as he looked down at her.
"We'll be back soon, okay?"
She nodded and watched as his gaze lingered on her face for a second longer before he sighed and turned away.
Thea groaned, laying back down as people began to file out of the ship.

"So you're telling me you managed to lose Clarke, Finn, another kid and Monty? God, I leave you alone for five minutes–" Thea groaned.
Bellamy sighed angrily, "First of all, I didn't lose them. They got lost on their own. We think Grounders might have taken Clarke and Finn. Monty went with us to look for them and his signal went out. We couldn't find him after that."
"So what're we gonna do about it?" Thea pulled her jacket on.
"Right now, nothing," Bellamy answered.
"Nothing? Are you kidding me? Three of our people are missing, one's laying injured in the dropship, and you want to just sit around and do nothing?" She asked angrily.
Bellamy sighed, "The Grounders are coming. We need to prepare. We can worry about them later, okay?"
Thea just scowled at him, brushing past him. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out across the camp, echoing into the distance.
Bellamy stormed past her. "Hey, what the hell's the matter with you?" he shouted at the kid who had fired the shot.
"I'm sorry, man, I fell asleep I've been on watch all day," the boy stammered.
Bellamy grabbed him by the front of his jacket, "We've all been on watch all day!" he yelled in his face, "That bullet is one less dead Grounder."
Octavia stepped forward, "Bell? You're scaring people."
Bellamy didn't back down, "They should be scared! The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare. But that time is up!"
Thea stepped closer to him, preparing to try and calm him down if things got out of hand.
"The Grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do! Clarke, Finn and Monty are gone, probably dead, and if you want to be next, I can't stop you. But no guns are leaving this camp!"
