Chapter 5

Caius's POV

I woke up the next day feeling extremely light. I took out my phone and checked the time, it's 7am already.

I raise my body and notice the jacket hanging in front of the cabinet. Ash had the same jacket as mine, well siya ang pumili nun.

After getting ready, I took the jacket from it's hanger, wear it and grabbed my bag and headed to the kitchen.

"Good morning, Caius!"

"Gising ka na pala. Maupo ka na, Caius.."

"Morning.."

Ash, Tita Lyrica and Tito Gray greeted as they saw me.

That's right, I stayed for the night at their house last night. I was really tired, and Tito Gray told me to sleep here.

"Good morning po." I greeted back and sat beside Ash. I glance at him, he looks so happy for some reason.

"Ash, why are you grinning?" Tito Gray asked.

"Hmm? Wala naman, Papa.. Masaya lang ako."

Tito Gray shook his head then faced me. "So, Caius. Did you enjoy yourself yesterday?"

I smiled. "Yes, very. Thank you so much for inviting me, Tito Gray."

He smiled back. "Sure. I hope you can join us again sometime, Ash really enjoyed your company."

"Huh? Bakit ako dad?" Ash suddenly asked.

Tito Gray raised a brow. "Aren't you? You were smiling while running and tagging along with Caius. You're even making fun of him."

"What?! I did not!"

"Yes, you do."

I feel envious as I watch them banter. Tito Gray keeps laughing while teasing his son, and Ash keeps pouting like a kid as he got teased by his father.

I wish I had a family like this, too. No. I wish that they were my family.

My father, Claude Klaine is a kind and loving father, he supports me and guides me in every decision I make, that's why in exchange, I succeeded him and take in charge of our Casino Hotel business. But, we never had a strong bond before like Ash and Tito Gray had.

Tito Gray is very busy at his work because of his position as the President, same as Tita Lyrica. But, even though their hands are full, they are still giving time to their children, Aria and Ash.

While eating breakfast, Tito Gray keeps teasing Ash.

"So, Ash. When will you introduce your girlfriend to us?"

Ash choked and coughed which made Tito Gray and Tita Lyrica laugh.

"Why that question, Dad?!"

"What? You're old enough, you've finished college, so we are expecting you to have a girlfriend now."

"Hindi pa ko ready. Gusto ko po kasi kapag nagka girlfriend ako, may sarili na akong trabaho at hindi na ako umaasa sa inyo ni Mama para sa pang date namin."

"Touche.." Tito Gray shook his head and chuckled.

"Admit it, Gray. Your son has a point." Tita Lyrica said and laughed.

I watched as the three of them laugh at each other.

So this is what it feels like to have a family. It's very warm.

After breakfast, I went back to my own house, Tita Lyrica said to visit them again when I had time and I can't say no to her so I nodded.

"Caius..."
