Gabrielle yawns as she stretches her limbs in the middle of the comfortable bed she's lying on. She can feel the ray of light on her face but the breeze of air she can feel on her skin is too cold that she sluggishly pulls the blanket up to her neck to warm herself.
Her eyes are still closed and she had no intention on opening them yet. If she were to choose, she'd rather just sleep and not wake up ever again. After all, apart from the terrible hangover she is starting to feel in her head now, she knows that all the pain will just return to her system if she finally wakes up.
She's too exhausted and drained to feel any of those now...
Life had been too much to her already.
So right now, all she wants is to just sleep and pray that when she wakes up, everything will be different.
But fuck life, seriously, none of her prayers seem to be heard as she jolts in surprise as the kettle from somewhere in the room snoozes so loud.
"Argh...!" She grunts throwing herself back to the cozy bed she's on and covering her head with the thick comforter before cursing.
She can't remember anything from last night apart from getting drunk alone in the pub nearby Central Park.
Squinting her eyes and pulling her hair, she blinks as she uncovers her head off the comforter and looks at the window of this strange room she's in.
The surrounding is brand new to her. The paint of a rather cozy room is a combination of navy blue and grey. The metallic silver curtain is open, allowing the sun to shine on her face and making her squint again as its rays blind her.
Where on Earth is she???
She tries sitting up straight as she massages her temples only to gasp out loud as the comforter slides down to her freezing in cold body she realizes had nothing on but the comforter that is now resting on her lap. Revealing her upper torso.
Her eyes opened wide finally as she immediately covers her cold skin before feeling herself. The bed and the whole of the room is definitely unfamiliar to her.
This isn't Ade's room. No she couldn't remember him being with her last night too. They haven't been speaking since she returned to her father's prison. He had been busy making a living for his family while supporting his ill mother.
"Good morning, Bella..." the baritone voice behind her made her jump in surprise as she holds the comforter on her chest.
"Y-You...!" She turns around to look at the owner of the voice while breathing heavily.
"You...!" She repeats covering her naked body from his hungry eyes that darts from her face down to her chest before he shrugs and walks towards her with a tray on his hand.
Vincent, just like her is naked!
Well not totally naked, as he has his boxers on but he is walking towards her bed with only a piece of cloth covering his...
She looks at the only covered part of his body and covers her eyes like a girl. Realizing late that she made herself look like an idiot.
Vincent frowns seeing her reaction to him walking half-naked towards her. If she hadn't been so crazy wild last night and if she hadn't been a doctor, he would think that this is the first time she's seeing a half-naked man.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" She demands embracing the comforter around her cold skin and looking away.
"And why the fuck am I naked?!" She demands pushing herself to the far end of the bed as if his presence is burning her.
