"Please speak to me, Gab..." he had been kneeling in front of her for a good couple of hours now.

She had been mute since she fainted in grief after doing her best to revive her father when he took his last breath.

An overnight had pass. Gabriel Davis' second night of wake is now being held in the Westminster chapel, and here they are, in his old room... deafening themselves with the silence between them.

Gabrielle's eyes were red and sore because of the tears that doesn't seem to run dry from them. At least now, she isn't crying. She is just mutely staring at nothing as she embraces the picture frame on top of her father's side table.

A picture if a beautiful girl with brunette curly hair sitting on a smiling middle aged gentleman whose face shows nothing but gladness as he holds the small hands of the girl sitting on his shoulders.

The girl was about five. Her eyes are shining brightly as she seemed to be giggling at the camera. Beside the man is a beautiful woman looking up at the girl on top if her husband's shoulder. It isn't so hard to recognize that the little girl is Gabrielle when she was about five.

Her eyes, her nose and the deep dimple on her cheeks say it all. Vincent looks behind him once again, Gabrielle seems to be staring blankly at the rest of the picture frames on her father's study. Most of which are her photos growing up.

He gently places his hand on her knee and her expression changes again.

Her lips shake as she purses them before a couple of crystal clear tears roll down her cheeks.

"Please say something Gab..." he pleads. She has never spoken a word since she woke up after falling unconscious yesterday beside her father's lifeless body.

"Please baby..." his hand presses her knees gently before he reaches out for her broken hearted face and pulls her into his embrace. Instead of saying anything, Gabrielle just breaks down, pouring all her grief and regret into her loud cries that he feels as if his heart is shattering with every sob he hears from her...with every shiver of her shoulder blades that shakes her body against his own.

"I'm so sorry baby..." he whispers gently as he kisses the side of her head. His arms are wrapped around her weak body in a very tight embrace, with the hope that by hugging her so tight, her pain would go away.

It seems to Vincent that this is all she'll be as she endlessly cries in his arms regardless of his pleads for her to calm down.

"Baby please...hush..." her cries slowly turning into hysterical sobs, her chest heaving up and down as she begins screaming that all he could do is embrace her tighter while rubbing her back to comfort and calm her down.

"Gabrielle please... calm down baby..." she couldn't hear anything. All she could hear are the soft laughter echoing in her head as she recalls the lovely memories she had of what was once a perfect family. Her mother's eyes that are always shining as she smiles while running after her on her father's shoulders. Her father's loud laughter as he hops and runs pretending to be her horse as her mom chases after them.

Her giggles as she cheers for her dada to run faster before her mom catches them...

The most beautiful memories she had of her childhood are the same memories that are breaking her more apart now.

She feels shattered and played by fate. Why are all these happening to her?! What wrong had she done to the world to deserve this much of pain?!

Before she knew is, she's already pushing and hitting Vince away from her as she loses her sanity again and throws the picture frame towards the other photos on top of the table.
