"It's a good thing that you're still coming back..." the head of the orphanage says as he sips on his coffee one sunny afternoon with the Walton couple seating opposite him. It has been more than a week now that Gabrielle and Vincent are visiting the orphanage every afternoon to play with and look after the kids.
The boy who is now named Victor is on Gabrielle's lap as she feeds him his baby food. She looks at the boy who is now looking brand new thanks to Gabrielle's healing hands. His cheeks are even rosy now that he is being given proper care and food. He no longer look as malnourished and "bombed" when they first saw him.
He is also interacting and playing with other children now. But most of the time, he is just clinging on his "mama" just like now.
Gabrielle kisses his chubby cheek before shrugging her shoulder at the head who is looking and watching the pair of them intently. He smiles slightly to himself as Vincent wipes the side of the lips of Victor and he catches his finger before giggling to him.
Gabby also smiles as Victor puts Vincent's finger in his mouth making her husband squeak when he suddenly bites him.
"If I could get Victor bite and make this hunk squeak like that, I'll keep on coming back." She giggles before pinching Victor's cheek who is now giggling as he watches Vincent's reaction to him biting his finger.
"Let go boy!!!" Vincent complains with a face as Victor just tightens his bite.
"Ouch!!! Bella! Stop him!" He screams making Gabrielle just laughs before showing him her own mark which is on the back of her palm. Still red and swollen.
"He's having teeth Vince, come on! It's not just you he's biting." She chuckles watching the two of them.
"I don't care!!! Ouch!!! Let go, Victor!!!" He screams making the boy just giggle more.
"Give him a teether!!! Ouch!!!" Right now, Vince is already twisting in pain as Victor hold his finger in place and grits his teeth harder around it.
"Gabrielle Ralph Walton I swear he's cutting off my finger now!" He grabs the boy's cheeks to try to make him let go but instead, he just grits his front teeth harder and harder.
"Let go!!! Gabrielle do something!" That made her burst out laughing as she knows Vincent is serious now that he's calling her by her name. He only calls her full name when he's pissed off with her.
"Let go, baby..." she whispers to his temple as she kisses him.
"Be a good boy and let go of dada's finger..." she taps Victor's cheek so gently.
"Come on...dada will cry now." she smiles down on Victor, convincing him to let go. That made Vincent's heart melt. To hear her address him as Victor's dada. Usually she will just address him as "he" or "him" to Victor.
Finally, he opens his mouth and frees Vincent's finger, making him make a face groaning because of the pain that shoots through his nerves when the air hits the part that was bitten.
"God damn it...!" He utters making Gabrielle shoots him a warning look.
"Bad words...!" She covers Victor's ear who just looks up to her as if asking why she is covering his ears.
"Don't be like him, baby." She whispers kissing his chubby cheek once again.
"Sure he won't! He'll be worse, Gabrielle!" Vincent scoffs making Gabrielle roll her eyes on him.
"Fuck my life, it hurts!" He couldn't help but groan out loud in pain once again only to receive a kick on the leg from Gabby below the table.
"I think you're done with the food...?" She adjusts the boy's body as she stands up with him in her arms.
