Audrina seemed unaffected by the way she was talked to by Mason, simply just shrugging. Not like she was feeding the info to anyone, she herself was only the photographer. Heading back to the office, she grabbed her food and things and headed out, giving her brother a hug and a peck on the cheek. He seemed to be the only sane one who understood what she did. She watched her co-worker and soon followed out after her, running a hand down her face. Earlier that day she had been given the task to go talk to the Mayor, try to get pictures.

Of course, she had slacked off up until now. "Hey I'll catch you back at the office. I still have to go talk to the Mayor." Her tone had turned to that of strictly business, and she headed toward her car.

Reaching near the Mayor's Office, the female parked down the street. Nothing a little walk wouldn't help. Audrina grabbed her camera and what not and headed toward the large building, pausing at the intersection. She noticed something was off, there was a large crowd on the opposite side of the Mayor's Office. And not the usual Paparazzi either.

No, These were civilians.

Casting another glance at the large building, her curiosity overcame her and she headed to the crowd. Pushing her way between people, She finally saw what the commotion was. When her eyes landed on the fresh body, her heart stopped. Sitting there was her Uncle, an electrician for the city. He was a good worker, and a good neighbour. He was Face up, covered in fresh blood. But something was... Off. She looked at his arms and gasped softly. His hands were missing.

Pulling out her camera, she began taking pictures.

'Snip Snip Snap Snap' was the message this time, cut out in newspaper letters like a ransom note of sorts.

Stepping aside from the crowd, she snapped more pictures. She thought it as a game, but there was something she just noticed. Each kill was someone who was held dear in the community. She stood, biting her lip. It was the cleanest murder yet, he was still recognisable. But what made him a pawn in this sick game? She shook her head, it wasn't making sense right now. Instead, she pulled out her phone and dialed her brother. As soon as he picked up, she only said a few words. "New victim. Intersection outside Mayor's office. There's a crowd. I recognize him. His name is..." She paused, dropping her voice.

"Richard Spencer Black."

Through one ear and out the other, Detective blank, Aaron was really hoping she would put that in the paper, he might actually frame the article for that one. Mason, however, was not going to have any of it and the only thing that really caught Aaron's attention after that was a swift slap from the journalist to Mason. Aaron had to bite his lip hard to keep a grin from appearing on his face. Mason wouldn't find it as amusing and Aaron could only think daaamnnn and smothered his laugh into a cough to control himself. It wasn't really the gesture he found funny, it was really because the woman could not have picked a worse enemy.

Aaron, sure, he's been slapped a few times by women in his life... He doubted Mr. walk the line had. He also doubted his partner would take it so lightly. Mason lifted a finger, Aaron was surprised he didn't see the veins popping out of his neck and ready to become Bain from Batman. Once the warning was inserted to a Journalist that could obviously care less, they rounded to the office. Mason was fuming.

Aaron didn't care.

As soon as they reached the office, Aaron was cracking up. He had forgotten what he was going to say except, "She got you, man." He said with a laugh before finally clearing his throat, "Okay, okay, I think these murders have to deal with the latest budget cut." He stated, going over to the bored where the pictures were hung and point to the news article left with the dead Journalist. He avoided the sister comment and rolled his eyes, "Look, I'm just saying, first we have an actress with lines from Othello, then we have Journalist guy talking about budget cuts of Liberal Arts for Athletics, and then next is a Coach... Which is obviously athletic..." He paused for moment, looking at the gruesome picture of John. Before he could open his mouth to say more there was a knock on the door and Mason was quick to get feisty with the poor soul on the other side.

Dr. Wilson must have been startled from such a greeting and Aaron came around to get a better view, "Hey, Easter" He greeted with a smile and a nod of his head. She was an attractive blonde, and smart too. "Chill out Mason, that's why people around the office talk about you behind your back." He teased lightly smacking the guy playfully on the shoulder as his phone began to ring. Aaron pushed his hand into his pocket to pull it out and looking at the screen. It was his sister calling, he looked puzzled as he answered the call and brought the phone to his ear. He hardly had time to give out a greeting when she was making her reasoning short and simply.

New victim... Mayors office...
Richard Spencer Black.

The last part of the phone call made Aaron's chocolate eyes widen slightly. "On my way.." Was all he replied before he hung up the phone and grabbed his coat off the back of the chair. "Sorry Easter, no time, Mason, another victim, Mayor's Office."

He didn't wait for his partner. His smile was gone and he had a dead serious look in his eyes as she headed out of the office at a rapid pace, digging his keys from his pocket and heading towards his car.
