Oliver felt one of the officer grip his arm and yank him back to himself. He grimaced as his arms were twisted into a position he knew a lot better than he should. The cuffs came next, as the boy had well expected. They were tight as fuck. He moved his arm to try to relieve some of the pressure. "You have a right to remain silent, anything you say or do will be used against you in a court of law - You have a right to speak to an attorney and to have an attorney present during questioning, and if you cannot afford one, the state will provide one for you. You are under arrest for obstruction of a crime scene." Another grimace.
Oliver didn't protest as the cop pushed him in the direction of the squad car. He was barely aware that there was even another person there. He paid no attention to their dialogue, and he spent the ride staring at his feet.
The male was frustrated, mostly at himself. He had known this is where he would end up if he tried to go look at the body, but he went anyways. What the hell had he expected to find out, anyways? All it would have accomplished was Oliver having nightmares of dead bodies. Not that he didn't have nightmares of Kiera's. After all, he'd been the closest of her relatives to I.D. the body. He sighed. Hopefully this would be like the last time, a night or two. Of course, he handn't been arrested for obstucting a crime scene before.
At the Precinct, Oliver let Benjamin drag him to the holding cells. The guard that took him shoced him-a little too hard- into his cell. "Cuffs." The gaurd practically barked the word at him. Oliver shoved his hands through the spot where the guard would remove his cuffs. He didn't say anything after that, and the Guard went back to his station. Oliver rubbed his wrists.
The male paced the cell for a while, patting his hands on his legs as he did. When he wasn't pacing, he was standing in the middle of the room tapping his foot. He sat down once, but his damn leg kept shaking and shaking. "Dammit..." Oliver whispered to himself. He knew he couldn't sit still due to his drug use. He felt sick to his stomach at the thought. Of course, that could be another side affect. He still wanted to go home and do more. He was really starting to regret his idiot idea. What had he been thinking, really? Did he expect anything different than this.
A commotion alerted his attention, and the boy noticed the Guard running off to see what had happened. After a while, Oliver was sure he heard the sirens of an Ambulance approaching. What on earth had happened, and at the CCPD headquarters?
