Detective Black hadn't even responded when one of the squints put herself between him and Angie's microphone. "I'm here now and I'd appreciate it if you stopped there before you contaminate my crime scene." Oh. The squint squad had just arrived to the scene... How convenient. "Almost an hour late. Is this how forensics usually work?" She said, stepping on her tiptoes and almost yelling the last part as the scientist walked back to the scene. No longer after a redhead, the little photographer from the Gazette, had appeared and she saw her mumbling something to Detective Black. She decided to keep her attention locked on her and she didn't regret it. "I know it is not my place to state this, but I know the victim. He... He was my uncle, an electrician for the city. His name is Richard Black, age 28. His hands are missing, but I can't determine cause of death just by looking at him." Her statement had been directed to the other cops and she clearly was ignoring the press but it was something that is was not going to be ignored by her. Richard Black, so it was Detective Black's relative! He hadn't told her anything and still she had gotten something juicy thanks to her little sister's big mouth. She wanted to assault him with more questions when suddenly she heard a cop raising his voice. She turned to his substitute cameraman and nodded towards the new turmoil. She stepped at his side, clearing the view so he could capture what it was going on. "No matter what, keep rolling." She demanded. "Let me go! Get your hand off me, you're hurting me you jerk! If you had been doing your job, you'd have spotted me before I'm not even close to the fucking tape! ARGH! I said, hands off, you'll make me trip with all your tugging!"

Oh please, make her trip. That would look amazing on camera.

Wasn't that Amanda Dumont? The first suspect in Kiera's murder?

She had asked her assistant to obtain an interview from her but the attempts hadn't been successful. Did she have to do that all by herself? The trouble developed, she noticed that the rest of the forensics had arrived but that was not worth to shoot. The interesting thing was happening in front of them. "This is a crime scene, We need you to vacate the premises. You're causing a distraction." Her attention turned to Officer King. When things like this happened, Angie preferred to do as told than to be manhandled by some brute police officers or to take the risk to be arrested. How could she report the news from jail? No, no way that could happen. Angie and her cameraman move themselves to the other line of the yellow tape. She fixed her hair once more and when she looked up, she saw a young man standing out of the crowd. "A distraction? If you did your job right in the first place we wouldn't be gathered out her gaping atadead body." She didn't know who he was but immediately a woman had joined the scene. Abigail? Really? That hackette always trying to make her good action of the day. Angie began to tap repeatedly her cameraman's shoulder. "Are you recording this?" If Abigail wanted to got herself arrested, she wanted to have that on camera. She could also use that on her favor and show on TV police brutality against the media.

She was enjoying the show until Detective Quinn appeared, being the killjoy as always. A police officer immediately stepped in front of them, commanding them to turn off the camera but she knew her rights "We are behind the yellow tape, you can't just shut us off." She scorned. Then she turned back to her companion "You. Keep rolling." He nodded and focused again the camera towards the disturbance.

Ugh.

She felt that she had to tell him what to do everytime. If Rocky was here, she wouldn't have to worry about that. She continued looking at the scene, the police officer finally had let go Amanda and she had walked away. However, the discussion of Abigail and the cops didn't stop. Apparently Abigail had touched a sensitive nerve of one of the new uniforms. Both of them were yelling now, Officer King had tried to interfere and calm things down but he ended up irritating the reporter more. They were watching things from a safe distance and she discretely had the microphone pointed out at their direction. Although, at some point, Angie wanted to drop it and just approach and slap her. She was talking ill of Channel Five, she was talking shit about her. Who did she think she was?! She began to give a step but one hand stopped her. The Cameraman just shook his head and crossed his arms and huffed. It wouldn't be good if she got involved. Cameraman wasn't that useless after all. The fighting as coming to an end and she was about to call it a day when suddenly, the young man that apparently was discussing with Officer King, tried to run his way back to the crime scene. Of course he didn't get that far and fortunately they were getting on camera the arrest she had been waiting for. It would have been better if it had been Abigail, but that worked out too.

People began to disperse and she knew that was their cue to go. She turned to her companion and made them the signal to cut if off, they needed to go back to the Channel Station and review the material they had just gotten. She was walking towards the van when she heard her phone's notification. She took it out from her trench and read the message from Rocky:

To: Angie
From: Rocky
Heading into work now,
after a quick stop at the cafe.
Meet me?

To: Rocky
From: Angie
It was about time, we missed you.
A coffee sounds great, see you at
the usual spot.

After some minutes, they arrived to the café. She walked into it, cameraman following her close, her assistant had gone directly to Channel Five in order to begin the preparations for tonight's news. Angie quickly spotted Rocky and opening her arms, she began to approach her. "And there is my favorite camera person!" She quickly turned to the man at her side and added "You already know that, dear. No offence." Her attention turned to her friend and hugged her tightly before taking a seat. She wasn't overreacting or faking her reaction, Angie really appreciated Rochelle. Angie was always focused on her career and what would be her next step, but she wasn't dumb. She was aware how the public opinion was divided and that not many people liked her. And Rocky was one of them and not only because she worked for her! So of course she wanted her close. "We have so much material for tonight! He can show it to you." She nodded to the cameraman and then to her friend. "Did you get to see me live?" She asked her, her chin was now resting on her well-manicured hands, a wide smile showing on her face.
