I made Jess some tea and gave her a cloth soaked in warm water to help heal her wounds. She said that her stomach was really hurting her for some reason.

Rosie couldn't sleep, so, Ponyboy was holding her in his lap while she sat as still as a statue. I think she just wanted to be held by something, so Pony held her until she fell asleep.

"I think I'm gonna go home, I don't want to interfere with you guys. I feel fine, don't worry about me."

Jess said, attempting to stand up. She almost fell over at the attempt. I caught her before she did, thank god.

"No, don't be silly, sleep here for tonight, alright? I'm kind of tired, come to think of it. Pony and I are gonna hit the hay. Just lay down and sleep here. You obviously can't walk, after all."

She frowned a little and laid down. I put a blanket over her and she closed her eyes.

"Thanks, Lucy."

"No problem. Anytime."

I said back to her. She turned to her side and fell asleep.

I dressed into my pajamas and laid down next to Ponyboy, who had already been laying there for a few minutes prior. Pony turned facing me and gently ran his fingers through my hair. He smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek,

"I'm tired."

He said to me. I giggled a little.

"Ya know what, me too."

I said to him. He smiled and I nestled close to him in his warm embrace.
