I woke up at promptly 7 o'clock to make Ponyboy breakfast before he had to leave for work. Ponyboy wore a button-down shirt with a nice pair of pants. He was definitely the most conscious of how he looked in the gang. He looked so handsome. I smiled at him.

"Don't you look fine?"

I said as he walked into the kitchen area. He kissed my forehead.

"I could say the same to you, bunny."

He said. I giggled.

"I'm in pajamas, silly. You're going to have a great first day. What time are you coming home later?"

I asked him. He began to drink the coffee I made for him.

"They said I get off around 5. Long day, but it will give me more to talk to you about."

He said, smiling. A unsure look took over his face. He then frowned at the ground and looked back at me.

"You're nervous, aren't you, Pon?"

I asked. He nodded. I wrapped my hands around his neck, as he continued to look scared.

"Darling, don't be afraid. You're going to have a great first day. I know you will. And when you come home, you can tell me all about it. I'm picking up Rosie for the night, so she's something to look forward to! Just think positive thoughts, and make coming home and seeing Rosie an initiative to get you through the day."

He smiled at me. I knew he loved Rosie.

"I think I'll be more excited to come home and see your gorgeous face"

He said, then kissing me. I released the kiss and handed him breakfast.

"Now, eat. You don't want to be late!"

I said, shooing him over to the table.
