Chapter 15

I told Jess about my idea of her coming to dinner with us, and she was thrilled. She wanted to see where we come from.

It was Friday, and the sky was dull and dreary. Ponyboy and I decided to stay at home again. We played cards for a lot of the day. I kept challenging him to each game after the last due to constant loss. I was very competitive when it came to cards, I guess.

Suddenly, Ponyboy smiled at me, like he had a secret card up his sleeve.

"Luc, I've been hiding something from you for a few days now, and I don't think I can hide it any longer."

I nodded, curiously.

"I got the job at the Times. I'm a new writer! I start Monday."

He said. My jaw dropped, and I threw all of my cards into the air. I was overreacting, but I had all the right to be. I hopped into his lap and hugged him real big and kissed him real long.

"Congrats, my love. I'm so happy for you."

I said to him, smiling at how happy I was, for him and for me. We continued to kiss until he lifted me up out of my lap. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he carried me over to our bedroom.

We laid on the bed for a good five minutes just kissing. I began to feel under his shirt, eventually snaking it off. He did the same thing with mine.

I smiled at each kiss we shared, because it felt like magic. I started playing with his hair as his hands rested on my bare waist. He sneaked his hands down to my skirt, which he managed to slip off without me even really noticing. I unzipped his pants and began to take them off.

Holy shit

I'm about to lose my virginity.

I thought about what Jess said, not to rush it, but I think now is a good time. Now was a great time.

I undid my bra, revealing my cold, hard, breasts.

"Oh, Lucy"

Ponyboy said, he began to kiss my neck down to my breast area. I decided that this was a good time to take off my underwear, and Ponyboy did the same. Remember when I said I wanted to see what was underneath the rest of his clothes? Trust me, it was somethin'.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

He asked me. I smiled and nodded. He grinned at me as we entered a new world of satisfaction.
