I woke up in a very uncomfortable bed, and it scared me, so I jolted up and looked around. Oh. I thought. I'm in a hospital.... I quickly remembered what happened and looked down at my wrist to see it wrapped up. I sighed and layed back down. Then the door opened and I looked to my left to see Calum standing there, as soon as he saw me relief washed over his face.
"You're awake... you're alright..." he rushed over to me and hugged me so tight.
"um, I might not be if you don't let go." I said.
"sorry, I was just so worried about you babe."
"oh....I'm sorry.... by the way... sorry for bothering you. You probably think I'm a handful, and nothing but trouble. You probably think I'm some crazy depressed weirdo. If you want you can leave, sorry for wasting your time..."
"I wouldn't leave you for the world."
I actually smiled at him, a big smile. Then the doctor walked in.
"Ok Melody, you're able to go.... stay safe okay?"
I nodded and hopped out of the bed.
"I'll take you home." Calum said. I nodded and began walking out of the door, when I looked back Calum was talking to the doctor. I hid behind the big door, my curiosity getting the best of me, I began listening to their conversation. I heard the doctor talking to Calum.
" I know she must be going through alot. .. but I believe you can really help her. I really think you can save her."
And I thought about it, maybe it was true.... I hope so.
