I was still thinking about what Makala said, when all of a sudden I heard a squeal beside me. I look to see her off the towel, and in Lukes arms. AWW.
"Luke, put me down!" she laughed. Then, he picked her up over his shoulders and ran to the water. He threw her in and I heard a scream and then a splash cutting it off. I started laughing when all of a sudden, someone has their arms around me. I looked to see who it was, and it was Calum.
"oh my god Calum, put me down!" I started laughing. Then he did the same as Luke, put me over his shoulder and ran to the water.
"NO!!!!! I don't wanna go in t-" i was cut off by going underwater. When I came back up, I tried to push Calum under, but he was too strong for me. I huffed and gave up. I looked over at Luke and Makala, and all of a sudden they both went underwater. It seemed like they were doing an underwater kiss. Aw! How cuuute. Then again...wouldn't water get in your mouth? I was snapped out of my thoughts when my wrist started stinging a little. Fuck you, salt water. I thought. Calum must've noticed my facial expression.
"What's wrong babe? Is everything alright?" Calum asked.
"Um...my wrist, it kinda burns..." I said softly.
"Well let's get out, we can go get some ice cream for a minute?" He said, more of a question.
"Alright." I smiled a little. We got out of the water and walked to the ice-cream cart.
"2 mint chocolate chip cones please." Calum said.
"How'd you know my favorite?!?" I asked.
"Who doesn't like mint chocolate chip?"
"True." The man handed us our cones and we thanked him. By the beach, there was a board walk, and hardly anyone here since the sun was going down. So, we walked to the end of the board walk and sat down, our feet dangling off the edge.
"Hey, Calum?" I asked.
"Yea?" he said licking his cone.
"Thanks for today...it's the most fun I've had in years, literally. I can't thank you enough." I smiled at him. He smiled back.
"You're welcome, babe." he replied. We sat there staring at the sun set when I looked over to the other guys, Michael was talking to some really pretty girl, and so was Ashton. Luke and Makala were dying of laughter fron something, but it was so cute.
"They have an amazing relationship." I blurted out.
"Yea, he really likes her."
" I can tell." I smiled, still looking at them. Luke picked her up and spun her around, and she was laughing so hard. I can't even. Too cute.
"Melody?" Calum asked, interrupting my thoughts.
"Mhmm?" I asked, turning to him while licking my ice cream cone.
"I um...I really like you." He smiled, and my heat stopped. He really likes me.
