I really wanted to tell Calum how uncomfortable I was about going to the beach...but I decided to just go with the flow. Just wait and see what happens.
"Okah, I'll go get ready. You guys can go home and get ready, and come back to pick me up?" I hope they didn't mind. They said yea and went to go to the door, and I saw Luke and Makala holding hands, swinging them back and forth.
"Actually, hold on. Is it okay if I et ready here?" Makala asked, turning around.
"Yea, sure." I smiled. Did she actually wanna be my friend? She said goodbye to Luke and they kissed, and Michael made a gagging noise. When they left, we went to my room.
"I have an extra bathing suit so it's okay." I told her.
"Okay." she smiled. I went to go get the bathing suits from the shelf in the bathroom. I came back and handed her one.
"So, you and Calum" she said, making me blush.
"Yea? What about us?" I asked..
"Oh c'mon Melody, don't act stupid... everyone knows you lik eachother." She said.
"W-what?" I almost chocked on air.
"I do not like him." I said.
"Oh whatever, I'll be right back! Wait... where's the bathroom?" she asked. I laughed
"It's down the hall to your left" I smiled. When she walked out I got changed, and being smart as I am... I put waterproof makeup on my cuts to cover them up. I had just a normal light purple almost a pastel color bikini, and I gave the neon green one to Makala. It would make her tan skin look even tanner. Where as I was white as a ghost. I looked in the mirror and all I could see was fat fat fat. I shook the thoughts and tried to atleast feel a little better. Just think of Calum... and when I did, I actually did feel better.
"I love this bikini!" Makala walked in.
"Thanks I guess" I laughed. Then the doorbell rang.
"Yay! Let's gooooo!" she yelled...oh my... this girl is crazy. I could tell we were going to get along.
