We reached the fair, and got in line to get our bracelets. We saw the boys standing in line, too. Makala snuck up behind Luke.
"Ahhhh!" She screamed in the most terrifying high pitched voice ever. Luke jumped and screamed like a little girl, and I started cracking up. Makala and I were crying of laughter, and Calum was standing there chuckling.
"That wasn't funny, Kala." Luke said, pouting.
"Aw I'm sorry baby, but it actually was." We finally caught our breaths and were next in line. The boys stood to the side while we paid the lady and she put the bracelets on us. I walked over to Calum.
"Hi." I said.
"Hello, Melody. You look beautiful today." He said. My face got hot and I was blushing.
"Oh. So, what ride do you wanna ride?" I asked.
"Hmm..I don't know, but the romantics aka Luke and Makala are heading for the ferris wheel." he replied.
"Oh! I know! we can ride that one, look how cool it looks, it even goes upside down!" I said pointing to a ride. I loved rides that went upside down.
"Oh..um okay.. yea let's ride that one..." Calum said, sounding scared and nervous.
"Aw, is little Cal Cal scared?" I asked.
"No, c'mon let's go ride it." he said pulling me towards the ride. We eventually got off, and Calum looked kinda green.
"Calum, please, whatever you do, don't puke." i said.
"O-Okay.." he said trying not to.
"Let's go on a calmer ride now, yeah?" i asked
"Okay." We walked to the ferris wheel and got on. He finally looked normal again. We got in the seats and after a minute or two it started moving. when we were at the top, it stopped. Oh, how cheesy. I thought. Then the man controlling it announced,
"Sorry, the ride has shut down. It will be up and running in about 20 minutes. Please stay calm." 20 fucking minutes?!?! Seriously? I groaned.
"It's okay, I mean, look at the view... it's beautiful, isn't it?" Calum asked, and I looked around. It really was, the sun was setting and this couldn't get any more cheesier. I nodded, agreeing with him.
"But not as beautiful as you." He smiled. And right then and there, I wanted to slap him. Seriously, could he try to be a little more original?
"Aw how cute, haven't heard that one before." I scoffed, I was just annoyed we were stuck up here.
"I know it's cliche, but it's very true." I looked at him, and I stared into his deep brown eyes. I could get lost in them. Then, his eyes started flickering towards my lips and back to my eyes, and he was leaning in. I did the same, and before you knew it our lips crashes together. They fit perfectly together, like puzzel pieces. When we pulled apart, we were staring into each others eyes, and Calum started smiling. I blushed and looked down, when he lifted up my chin with his finger.
"Aw, don't do that, I need to see your beautiful face." I wasn't sure if he was going blind do to the setting sun in his eyes or if he desperately needed glasses. I blushed again and smiled. Then, the ride started moving and we were back at the bottom. When we got off everyone started cheering, oh god I guess they saw us kiss. I blushed for the 928447 time tonight and Calum and I spotted Luke and Makala. We walked over to them. They were at one of the game stands, and Luke had won Makala a giant stuffed teddy bear. They saw us and Makala looked so happy.
"Look what Luke won me! Oh, and I'm pretty sure everyone saw that kiss between you and Calum." She winked. There I go again, blushing.
"Here babe, I'll win you something." Calum said to me. He was trying to be like a boyfriend and it was cute. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet, though. I was off in my own world when I heard Calum cheering.
"Here you go, princess." He said handing me the same giant bear as Makala, but mine was purple and hers blue. I smiled and grabbed it, and hugged it. It was so fluffy. Calum chuckled.
"I'm hungry." He said. I then realized Luke and Makala left to go on another ride.
"Then get yourself something to eat." i said.
"aren't you hungry? You didn't have breakfast this morning..." he said
"no, i'm not hungry. I had something for lunch." i lied.
" Melody, that isn't enough. You need more food. Let's go get some." He said.
"I'm not hungry." I said plainly. He was starting to make me mad. Who does he think he is? Trying to make me eat when clearly, i'm not fucking hungry.
"Melody, stop lying to me. Please, eat something. I've noticed how skinny you're getting, and it's scaring me..." he said, sounding hurt.
"What the fuck ever, Calum. You know damn well I'm still fat as a pig, you're just trying to make me eat. I'm not going to. I wish you would just stop bothering me. gosh, you're so annoying, i hate you i hate you i hate you!" I started pounding on his chest, but I was very weak. He grabbed my arms and hugged me tight, and that was when I broke down. In public. I took all my anger out on Calum, and then it turned to tears. While Calum was also the one who could fix me, at the same time he was the one who could break me.
-well its 6:30 am and i cant sleep.
