By the time Calum dropped me off it was pretty late.
"Well...bye.." I said to him. Honestly, I didn't want him to leave... He yawned.
"I'm so tired, I really don't feel like driving, even if it is only a couple miles." He said
"Oh."
"Is it okay if... I um.... stay here with you?" That really made me happy for some reason... I was glad he wanted to stay with me. I thought he would just drop me off and never speak to me again.
"Yea, that's alright, but what about your band members? Do they know where you're at?"
"Well they knew I was at the hospital but I'll just tell them I'm staying here for the night. It'll be okay with them."
"Oh. Alright.. Follow me." We walked to my front door and to my room.
"Do you have any extra blankets or pillows?" he asked.
"Yea, hold on." I went to go get the covers and pillows, and walked back to my room.
"Here you go..." I handed them to him.
"Thanks." He took them and layed on the floor.
"You know I'm not making you sleep on the floor right?" I asked.
"Yea, but I just thought...nevermind, it's alright, I'm fine down here." He replied.
"Oh... okay." I replied walking to my bed.
"Night Mel."
"Goodnight, Cal." I layed down and stared at the ceiling. I can't sleep, ugh. I thought about everything thats happened and realized that maybe... just maybe he really does care for me.
10 minutes later I was still awake.
"Cal?" I whispered, hoping he was awake.
"Hmm?" He said sleepily.
"Sorry if I woke you up..."
"You didn't, what's wrong?"
"Um... could you come up here, please?.." i asked. I hope he doesn't run out after I said that. He didn't say anything. Why did I say that. Fuck. Then I heard shuffling, and felt the bed dip down beside me. I turned over on my other side to look at him. It was pretty dark so I could barely see his face, but the clouds covering the moon dissapeard and the moonlight shone on his beautiful face. He was so breath taking, his beautiful eyes and his full lips. We just sat there staring at eachother before he said something.
"Melody?" he asked
"Hmm?"
"You're beautiful." I blushed, my face probably looked like a tomato.
"Oh." was all I could say.
He smiled.
"Calum?" I aksed.
"Yes babe?"
"You're beautiful, too." He smiled. I loved his smile. It was beautiful.
"Goodnight, babe." he said. I snuggled into him.
"Night, Cal." And I fell asleep with a smile on my face. I finally found someone to make me feel happy again. I was finally happy.
