Today was the day of the concert. What even. I haven't cut, I ate an apple today, I'm really proud of myself. I was getting ready. I wrote a note for them to read, I was planning on giving it to Calum, my favorite boy. I didn't have much clothes since I wasn't very wealthy, I wore black tight skinny jeans, my white vans, and a plain white v neck. I brushed through my long wavy auburn hair, put on some makeup but not too much, and I was off. I had my ticket in my hand, and some money for the bus in the other. I walked a way to the bus stop, and waited. I saw the bus turning the corner and when it reached me, I got on and paid the driver. I got off the 2nd stop and walked to the venue. I saw only about 5 girls there, and they were all with someone. That made me feel so alone and left out, I hugged my chest and walked towards a securtiy gaurd. "Um, do you know where I go for meet & greet?" I asked him. "Yea, over there to your left." He pointed to a door. I nodded and walked to the door, and it was open. I walked inside and there was a man standing right by the door, and when he saw me he said "ticket please." I handed him my ticket and walked fully inside. I saw the boys talking a with a couple girls, so I walked over there. When I reached them... I had no clue what to do. I just stood there...looking down. Then I heard one of them speak. "Hey don't be scared to come over here... we don't bite... hard." I looked up to see the brown eyed boy wink at me. I smiled and he walked over to me.
"Uh, hi." I said softly.
"Hi babe, what's your name?" he asked.
"Melody." I replied.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He said.
"T-Thanks..." That was the cheesiest thing he could ever say. Then I remembered the note I wrote for him.
"I have something for you..." I reached in my pocket and pulled out the note. I handed it to him, but he stared at it for a second before grabbing my wrist and staring at it. Shit, I thought, I forgot to cover them up, damnit.
"W-Why did you do it babe?" he looked hurt
"I..I..." I couldnt even finish before I burst out crying. He pulled me into his chest and I was full out sobbing.
"Shh...it's okay...I'm sorry...." he said while rubbing my hair.
"No Calum," I pulled away, "I'm sorry... I- I'll just leave now... sorry" I muttered before trying to walk away. But he pulled me back,
"No, don't go. Don't be sorry. Why are you sorry?"
"Because I just ruined your whole day, you probably think I'm a freak!" I raised my voice.
"You didn't ruin my day, and you're anything but a freak." He said, sadness in his voice.
"Whatever... you're only saying that..." I muttered.
"Can I see your phone?" he asked
"Um why?"
"Please?"
I handed him my stupid phone. Well it was a smart phone but it wasn't like the new iPhone or anything,
"Here,"
He was typing something and then he handed it to me.
"Um alright." I said.
"I love you babe okay, you're worth more than you think, you're beautiful and amazing, I have to go now, bye.." He said
"Bye." i said softly.
I watched him walk off. I thought this day would be better. I dont even wanna go to the concert. I'm just going to go home. I fucked it up, again.
