we were headed towards the middle of nowhere. it was such a fun ride though. we played music on our phones, not liking the shit on the radio. we listened to bands like blink-182 (my favsss), relient k, sum 41, green day, the misfits, and stuff. we were finally out in the country.
"well, we made it." calum said getting out and me hopping out. i got the blankets and pillows and set them up in the back and we got settled in. it was so beautiful out tonight, the weather wasnt cold but it wasnt hot. it was perfect for a blanket.
"play some music." calum said as we lay side by side.
"like what?"
"hmm..ill pick." he took my phone. he first played "down" by blink-182
"the drops of rain they fall all over.... this awkward silence makes me crazy..." gahh. i love this song. we listened to "there is" by box car racer, another greaaat song. and more bands. then i looked over to see calum staring at me.
"youre so beautiful..." he whispered.
"and youre so handsome.." i smiled. then he leaned in and i closed my eyes. its weird how we close our eyes when we kiss but i guess itd be weirder to have them open. i almost laugh thinking of it. at first it was just a little kiss, but then things started to pick up. and, oh god perfect timing, "feeling this" by blink-182 came on. this was my jam though. we were full on making out when calum started to lift up my shirt. i got scared so pulled away and looked at him frightened. i was scared of losing my v-card. it may seem dumb but im just not ready for that.
"i-im sorry, mel.. i just.." he trailed off. i kinda laughed. its not his fault, he didnt know. hes just a teen boy, of course he would want to do that.
"no cal its fine." i smiled. he kissed me and lay back down as the song ended. then "when you cant sleep at night" came on by of mice & men and i got the big blanket and pulled it over me, cuddling into calum. gosh, this was so comfortable. i passed out a couple minutes later after hearing calums soft snores.
