The shimmers from the water reflecting on the body of the fountain took me back to my childhood. Memories of me swimming in the pool, at my childhood home, at night came front and centre in my mind. When I'd splash around and pretend I was mermaid swimming under the water and holding my breath as long as I could.
Back then I thought mermaids could have been real but as I grew older began to realise there was no way they could be; I also thought that time travel was impossible but I was proven wrong so did that mean mermaids could be real to?
Stupid thoughts like this kept pushing their way to the front of mind lately.
I mean time travel was...is thought impossible by even the smartest of scientists so how the hell was it possible I have done it?
"AJ! Where is that revised scene I asked for?" Francis bellowed as usual. I was so used to his bellowing now that it frightened me when he wasn't.
"Yeah Francis, right here." I hand him the freshly printed pages with the word revised scribbled in the top right corner. He snatches it from my hands and scans the pages.
"No! This isn't what I asked for, there's 3 pages missing. Take it back!" Shoving it back into my hands he storms off towards the fountain and begins yelling at the crew. His words aren't clear but something obviously isn't up to his standards.
I straighten out the crunched up pages which he managed to do in seconds and head towards the writers.
Susie greets me with a warm smile as I walk towards the area. She stands puts down her copy of the script on the table next to her eyes the crumpled script in my hand.
"What's wrong with it?" She sighs outstreching her arm to grab it.
"Apparently there are pages missing from this one."
"He's just got his knickers in a knot because we're a week behind schedule. AND if he looked properly he'd realise it's just in the wrong order."
She begins to realign the pages in the right order "So I heard about your little...incident last night. How are you feeling?" She eyes me as if trying to read my mind.
"How did you-...Rob." I nod coming to the realisation. "He's just worried about you especially after you being shot and all."
"Geeze don't be too subtle Susie."
"Not my style. So how are you?" She asks again standing up and walking with me back towards Francis.
"Good I suppose, I mean after being mugged you're bound to have some trauma right?" Using that as my excuse because I don't think she was quite ready for the whole

"Well I had a panic attack because I am struggling to come to terms with the fact I time traveled from 2015 to 1982."

"Well if I'm being honest I'd be more worried if you were completely okay as if nothing ever happened. Just take it easy okay?" She stops and turns to face me grabbing my hand from my side and squeezing it gently.
"I promise I'll try but it might be a bit hard when I'm his assitant." I gesture towards Francis with my head.
Susie chuckles before dropping my hand.
"He's not easy I agree but he's the only one who promised to stick to the story and not make it some shallow musical." I laughed at the idea of Rob and the boys prancing around singing in tutu's matched with flannel for some reason.
"I don't know Susie, I think flannel and tutu's go together well"
She looked at me with utter confusion realising she couldn't read my mind I shook my head and started towards the coffee store in town.

I ordered Francis's usual and mine before taking a seat in one of the booths. I began playing with the frayed edge of the leather seat out of boredom. I hadn't seen Rob all day he had started at 5 this morning and I guess I just kept missing him all day.
The kiss from last night wouldn't leave my mind. The butterflies wouldn't leave even long after the kiss  ended. The feeling of his soft lips against mine seemed permanently stained on my lips.
Before I knew it I was smiling like a goof and I didn't care.
I never would have thought I got to kiss Rob Lowe yet hear I was smiling like a 14 year old school girl.
"Excuse me?" A gentle voice broke me from my thoughts.
I look up to see a blonde haired female, with skin like porcelain and piercing bright blue eyes matched with ruby red lips and a slender body. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders in loose waves the fell to just below her chest. She was wearing an off the shoulder red tight top and acid wash jeans paired with little black boots. She was by my definition a true beauty.
"Yes?" I reply realising I had just been staring at her and not responding. I was acting like a horny guy.
"This is going to sound odd but do you know where I can find Matt Dillon? He said he was working around here somewhere but I can't seem to find him anywhere." She smiled sheepishly.
"As a matter of fact I do but can I ask how you know him?" She smirks and and nods putting her hands in her back pockets.
"Yeah I'm his girlfriend." I nearly choke on the news.
"I'm sorry his girlfriend? He...he just never mentioned it before."
"Really? We've been together for 5 months."
I think back to the times I've been with Matt more importantly the time we kissed.
How could he kiss someone else when he was with her?
"Ah I-I'm sure he's just so busy with the shoot and everything that he um it-it just slipped his mind." I lie trying to not let her see right through me.
My name is called out and the coffees are served and I breath out in relief.
"Yeah you're probably right." She chuckled.
"I can take you to the set if you like?"
"That'd be great." She smiles and follows me out the door.

"Matt!" She squeals as she runs towards him almost tackling him to the ground. Surprise is written all over his face and he wraps his arms around her and locks his eyes on to mine. I shake my head and scowl at him, I absolutely detest cheating.

"Hey babe um listen why don't you go get my jacket from the trailer and I'll take you out for a bite to eat?" She nods and kisses his cheek before almost running off towards the trailer.

I stalk up to him with the intention of slapping him but with so many witnesses around I didn't think it was the best idea without being questioned.
"You have a girlfriend?!?" I harshly whisper.
"Yeah so?" He shrugs lighting up a cigarette. "You didn't think to mention that when...oh I don't know...when YOU kissed me!?"
"Hey! Shut up will ya!? I don't need Missy finding out!" He hisses taking a step closer towards me.
"Yeah well maybe I'll tell her that her boyfriend isn't so faithful."
"I wouldn't do that darlin' after all how well do you really know you're little lover boy."
He takes another step closer and bends down so his lips are almost brushing against my ear.
"Not everyone is as innocent as they seem maybe you should ask him about his little miss."
"What?" I breathe even though it felt like the breath had been knocked out of me.
"No, you're lying!" I accuse him through gritted teeth. "Oh am I? Why don't you ask him now?"
I looked over to Rob with tears brimming in my eyes.
His smile vanished from his face as he took in my look and Matt's smirk.
"Is it true?" I ask Rob in a quivering voice. "Is what true?" He looks confused as he looks between us two. "Are you seeing someone else?" He freezes as his eyes lock onto mine like Matt did not too long ago although it felt like forever ago now.
"I...I...AJ..I can-"
"No don't! Just don't!" I whisper backing away from the both.
