Joeys POV:

I am transported to a white room with a long table I am in a chair.

Garson: Hello Joey! Welcome!

Joey: Thanks I guess.

Garson: Do you have any questions about these powers?

Joey: Why did I get them?

Garson: In high school you were bullied you needed the strength.

Joey: What about the other powers?

Garson: The powers were sort of a package deal.

Joey: Oh ok

Garson: Are you ready to meet someone who has the same powers?

What could it hurt. I mean maybe I could make a friend I don't have to keep a secret from.

Garson: Exactly!

Joey: What?

Garson: I can read you mind!

Joey: Oh ya, Sorry.

Garson: It is fine. Bring her in.

Her? This should be intresting! She walks in. I look up I can't believe my eyes.

X: Joey?

Joey: Gem?

Gem: Oh my god!

Joey: I can't believe my eyes!

Gem: That makes two of us!

Joey: How are you going to keep this from Sawyer?

Gem: I am still trying to figure that out. This explains so much!

Joey: Like what?

Gem: You lifted the ride. I couldn't get my hand under it. The glass well glasses.That was you! I couldn't read your mind!

Garson: You couldn't read his mind?

Gem: No, not his or Sawyer's!

Joey: I could read Sawyers.

Garson: When you can't read someone's mind it means they deeply like you. It is for saftey reasons. So the it is fair more then anything. Well umm I am going to leave you two alone.

With that he left. Gem looked shocked.

Gem: You like me? Like deeply like me?

I sigh.

Joey: Yes Gem.

Gem: I was the one who broke your heart?

Joey: Yes.

Gem: Joey, I'm so so sorry. I didn't know.

I was about to burst into tears. This is not what I wanted to happen.

Joey: Wait, I can't read your mind either.

I walk closer to her. I can fell her breath. She looks scared.

Joey: Gem, its ok.

Gem: No, no its not.

She starts to cry. I bring here into a hug. She looks up. I see her big green eyes. I lean down and kiss her. Are lips melt together. The kiss was pure bliss. She tries to pull away.

Gem: This..this is a mess.

She is balling she looks lost.

Joey: Its ok Gem.
