Mark's POV

"We have to go find her. Now." Jack takes the car keys, he still doesn't have his license after all he never really needed one.

"Jack, you can't driv-"

"I can and I will. Come or don't, I'm finding our baby." I wish we could just call the cops or something, but I don't think that's going to happen. I don't want to imagine what they are doing to her, I still have nightmares about what happened to me and that was seven years ago...

We went back to the carnival where I saw Elise's phone, she never leaves anywhere without it, we won't let her. "Jack, that's Elise's cellphone!"

Jack looked at the phone and started crying, his face was all red and blotchy. He handed the phone to me with the word, 'Save.' on it. What are they doing to her? 'She's strong. She's smart. She's brave.' I kept chanting these words in my head, but it didn't help. At this point Jack wouldn't let me touch him. He wouldn't let me hug him or even hold his hand.

"Let's just call the police." I offer. "We can file a missing person's report and-"

"No! No. We can't. They will take to long and who knows what they are doing to her."

Jack's phone buzzed, he received a text from an unknown number,

'Meet me at the park, tonight. If you want to see your daughter alive.'

Jack called the number, "You give me back my daughter, you son of a bitch! Or I'll-" He paused before covering his eyes with one hand, "Okay, okay. Wh- what time?" "Keep her safe." "Alright." He hung up.

"Where is she? What is going on?" I grabbed his arm but he moved.

"Umm..." he cried, "I have to meet them at the park at 7, you have to stay home, they will drop off Elise with you."

"Hell no! I'm not leaving you with that psycho bitch!"

"Mark, I want her safe. If I don't come back take Elise to New York, to that hotel we stayed at, you know the one. Don't call or text and don't under circumstances come find me, understand?"

"But-"

"Understand?"

I sighed, "Yes." I pull Jack into a hug, "Just let me hold you one more time." He hugs me tight,

"I will bring her back and I will come home, I swear on my life."" He grabs my hand, "Trust me, Call Tobias, I need the car." He kissed me and walked off, I can't just sit at home 'patiently waiting', but I need to trust Jack.

Jack's POV

"Give me back my daughter, you son of a bitch! Or I'll-"

"I don't think that's how you should talk to the person holding your 'bláth cróga'..." Christine laughed, "Meet me at the park."

"Ok, ok. Wh-what time?"

"7. Come alone."

"Keep her safe."

"We will drop her off with Mark." How does she know so much?! She knows where I live!

"Alright." She hung up. I explain to Mark what is going on, I have the feeling I won't be home, not for a while. Felix is working undercover in the old hotel we stayed at. He will watch over them while I'm gone. I hugged him before heading to the park.

I bought coffee before waiting on a bench, an hour had past and she hadn't showed. But suddenly this boy... THAT boy came up to me,

"Sean?" He sits next to me, I nod, "I've heard so much about you." He pulls out a picture of Elise and him smiling, "Listen, my mom is watching us, she thinks I'm showing you Elise being tortured. I need you to react." I pretend to cry and grab the picture. "I like your daughter, She is only alive because of me. Now I need you to listen." I nod, gripping the picture, "On the back of the picture is an address." I start turning over the picture, "Don't. My mom leaves every day around midnight, she is usually gone for two hours."

"What do you want me to do?" I tried to keep a straight face,

"I will untie Elise and send her to the back of the house, you can pick her up there."

"What about your mom?"

"I'll give her a fake a code, by the time she finds out it's not real I will be well on my way to my grandpa's."

"Why are you helping me?"

"I'm not like the rest of them." And with that he stood up and walked off. Something's not right, Christine was supposed to drop her off, as much as I despise her, she had never lied... I flipped over the picture and ran my fingers over the letters, the numbers didn't seem right, it wasn't a normal house address. This is- This is the first mission I ever went on. They had me undercover, I was 15 years old, posing as some teenager with Christine and Allison. They made a makeshift house, but put up the wrong address.

The picture was supposed to be demolished after the mission was compromised. I drove back to the mansion to see Mark frantically pacing back and forth gripping his phone tightly,

"Mark?"
