Paige's POV
I was doing this. I was stealing back the briefcase from Dean. I had given him his time to return it, but he never did. Therefore, I had to take matters into my own hands.
"Thanks Roman," I said outside the dorm. He had let me in.
I looked around the room for the stupid briefcase.
If I were a dumb moron, where would I hide a briefcase?
"I know!" I whisper shrieked.
I went over to his bed and looked under it. I found it, thank goodness. I picked it up and then walked out the door. Next step, take it to Shane.
I knocked on Shane's office door and he answered with an angry face.
"Paige? This better be important," he said sternly and I showed him the briefcase.
"Is this important?" I asked.
"It was you?" He asked and let me in.
"No, but I helped," I answered.
"Helped? What does that even mean?"
I just sat there and thought about it for a while. I wasn't sure why I helped Dean in the first place. He was a douchebag and I absolutely...loved him, but that was nonsense, because he did not like me what so ever.
"What she means is she helped me steal it," Dean appeared in the doorway.
Was he actually helping me?
"Mr. Ambrose?"
"Yes, I asked Paige to help me steal the briefcase and she did."
"How did you even figure out I took it?" I asked in confusion.
"Roman told me."
"Stupid Roman," I mumbled.
"So, it's true then. You've had the briefcase all this time?" Shane questioned.
"Yes. I took it home for Christmas break to show my parents that I was achieving something, and then I never returned it."
"I can expect it from you," he started.
"But, Paige, I am highly surprised."
I just sat there waiting for my punishment. Dean had gotten a three day suspension, which just meant he had to stay in his dorm and was only allowed to leave for food. Harsh.
My punishment, however, was much different. I only got an after school for one day with Stephanie. And he didn't call my parents, which really surprised me. Dean and I walked back to the dorms together.
"Hey, thanks for taking the blame back there," I said smiling.
"No problem, sweetheart."
"No, I really mean it. I know I snuck in and stole it, but it felt right, and I felt it needed to be done," I apologized.
"I'm not mad at you. I needed to return it, but I never was going to."
We arrived at the dorms and Triple H gave us a look, but we just shrugged it off. I started to walk back, but Dean stopped me.
"What?" I said and he pulled me back.
"You know, now that Sasha's not here," he said leaning in.
Oh my god. He's going to kiss me and Sasha's not here to stop me, but what am I going to do? I've never kissed anyone. Ever.
"Wait, are you okay with me doing this?" He asked before kissing me.
I nodded my head and then we kissed. Like an official kiss, no one to interrupt, it was just us. Not even Roman could do anything.
"Goodnight, sweetheart," he smirked and then closed the door leaving me shocked.
I walked back to my dorm with the happiest expression on my face. I unlocked my dorm quickly and found Sasha asleep, thank goodness, I wasn't in the mood to deal with her, after what happened the other day.
AJ's POV
Finally. The day of the bake sale had finally happened. We had so many helpers. Dean and Seth were up front taking money. Sami and Kevin were handing people the treats. Sheamus, Becky, and Cesaro were making the treats. The club and I were walking around making sure our customers were happy. Everyone else was just chilling and helping as needed. Shane and Daniel were in the corner drinking piña coladas in beach chairs.
"Yeah, I would like two brownies and one sugar cookie, both gluten free. I'm trying to cut gluten out of my diet," The Miz ordered and Sami ran around trying to find stuff.
"What diet?" Seth smirked.
"Mr. Rollins," Miz warned.
"Three dollars," Dean mumbled.
Rusev had now walked in with more treats. He and Lana brought in more cookies and cakes. Whoever made cake, that was definitely going to sell. We were having the bake sale at a church. Stephanie's church. It was in town, so we had to take cars here.
"I want a cheesecake," an old woman ordered.
"Lady, you can't have a whole one!" Dean told her.
"I want one for my cat and one for myself-" I cut her off.
"Club! Assist this nice lady," I said and she smiled. Dean rolled his eyes.
"AJ, is that really what they're here for?" Seth asked.
"They're just here for decoration," I smirked.
"Well they aren't very good decorations," Sami commented.
"I didn't say they were," I answered and saw that the club was handing that lady her cheesecake.
"Uh, ma'am, you have to pay for that!" Seth yelled after the woman.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she said waddling back over here.
"Ooh, a five. We'll keep the change, thanks for donating!" Dean said taking her money and then she left. Gosh, she was a handful to deal with. Once the bake sale was over, we went to visit John and give him some food, but we left very quickly, because Maryse said to leave him be.
I had snuck back in because I had to see John. He needed to try these cookies because they were delicious. I wasn't going to leave until he had one. He was my roommate after all.
When I got to the room, John still looked blank. But, I was about to change that.
"Roomie, I brought you some cookies," I said with a smile.
"Who are you?" He asked and I leaned over his head to give him the cookies, but accidentally dropped it on his head.
"Oh my god, oh my god," I started. "I am so sorry."
"AJ, what the hell was that for?" He said rubbing his head.
I gasped. Did he just say AJ?
