Dean's POV
I decided that it was time for me to come clean to Renee. I had been keeping my past hidden from her and now I was ready to share it with her.
"Renee," I grabbed her hand.
"Yes?"
"Can we talk?"
She sighed. "Is this the part where you break up with me?"
I looked at her. "Oh God no, never."
She sighed a sigh of relief and I led her to outside in the plaza. I was using my bathroom break, so I had to be quick, I didn't want Brock to come looking for me, and I knew he would.
"What did you want to talk about?"
We sat down and I began to talk about my past with her. "Well, I've never told anyone about this except for my Shield brothers, and I'm not good about opening up my feelings, so consider yourself special."
She nodded for me to continue. "Well, before I came here, I used to do some things I'm not that proud of."
"Like what?"
"Well for starters, I did drugs, because I wasn't happy with myself and that kind of stuff," I started. "And after the Shield broke up, I turned to alcohol. I felt like I had no friends and that nobody wanted to be around me."
"Did your parents know about any of this?"
"Of course not, you see my parents and I had a giant fight before I sent in my application to come here, and I'm not exactly their definition of the perfect child."
"Is that why you stole the brief case at the beginning of the year?"
I sighed. "Yes, I wanted them to proud of me."
She nodded her head and then I realized that I had been out here for over five minutes. "I have to go, I told Brock I was going to the bathroom, and this took longer than expected, so I've got to run," I said and kissed her on the cheek as I ran back to class.
When I returned to the classroom, AJ let me in and I noticed that Brock was talking to Paul, so I carefully snuck back to my seat next to Sasha.
"What took you so long?" She whispered to me.
I shrugged and she just rolled her eyes. "Men," I heard her mumble.
"Listen up lady," I started but she just put her hand up.
After Brock's class, I had Food Prep with The Rock, and I am still not sure why I had chosen to take this class. I didn't even like cooking, but Roman and Seth encouraged me to take it with them, that's why I took it.
"Okay class, today we will be cooking with heat," Rock stated as we came in.
"Like what kind of heat? Do you mean stove top, microwave, oven?" Sheamus asked concerned.
"Sheamus, relax, we're going to cook something on the stove top."
Roman and I shot each other a glance. We had always wanted to try something and today was our chance to do it. When we were in the Shield, we used to make fun of Seth for how much product he used in his hair, or grease if you will. It's gotten even worse now.
"What are you two thinking about?" Seth whispered as he saw our glances. Roman told him not to worry about it.
"Okay, so I'm going to get you guys started and then I'm going to go make copies of a new recipe for you guys."
Rock then turned on all of his stoves and we all we put to work. Roman and I weren't going to stick Seth's hair on the stove top just yet, because it was too soon. After Rock left, we decided that it was the perfect time for it.
