Chapter 43

Alexa's POV

"Guys, I have to tell you something," Carmella blurted out the next day in gym.

"Which is?" Bayley asked, unimpressed.

"Well, I have a crush."

We were all shocked. Carmella was dating one of the toughest guys in school, Big Cass. We all couldn't figure out who was better than him in her opinion.

"Carmella, you have a sweet boyfriend, why would you want to give him up?" Becky asked.

"I'm not dumping Cass, I'm just saying that I have a crush on someone else."

"Isn't that considered cheating?" I questioned. Even though I was no one to talk.

"No, I just like some one else, that's not cheating."

"Uh, okay, whatever you want to think," Sasha commented.

"I have a crush on James."

All of our mouths dropped and we just looked at her.

"Why James?" Charlotte said disgustedly.

Carmella shrugged and we all ran off.

We all warmed up and did our benching, but my mind wasn't in focus. I was thinking about Heath and the art teacher. I had slept with Tyler Breeze, I shouldn't have done it, but I couldn't help it, I stayed after for help on my self portrait, and then I found out that I had feelings for him.

"Alexa!" Summer yelled in my ear.

I dropped the weights as sweat ran down my forehead.

"Are you okay?" She asked me.

I nodded as she helped me back to the locker room. I just had so much on my mind, and I had also just gotten Heath back and I didn't want to lose him again.

"Lex, you good?" Bayley asked me as she put on one of her merchandise shirts.

"Yeah, fine," I murmured and walked to the bathroom.

I showered, hoping it would clear my mind, but it didn't, in fact, it just made my mind even more jumbled.

I walked down the halls and ran into Heath. Great, just the person I needed to see.

"Lexi, are you okay?" He asked looking at me with concerned.

I shook my head no and he gave me a hug. I whispered that I wanted to have a private conversation with him later, meaning I didn't want Rhyno there.

He nodded and we parted. I walked to History with Bray, but I didn't pay attention, I was just in this slump. I couldn't get Heath and Mr. Breeze out of my mind.

I met Heath at his dorm later that after school. I wasn't looking forward to this chat we were about to have. He welcomed me with a smile and I noticed Rhyno had left.

"You said you wanted to talk?" He asked as I walked in.

"Yeah, and you're going to want to sit down," I said as we sat down on his bed.

"Are you pregnant?" He asked.

I opened my mouth in shock. "Heavens no!"

He sighed a sigh of relief and I gulped. I wasn't ready to tell him what I had to, but I knew it was best.

"Heath, please don't be mad at me for what I'm about to tell you."

He frowned. "Should I be?"
