Chapter 53

Sasha's POV

The Royal Rumble was today and I couldn't be happier. Charlotte was going against Bayley, Kevin against Roman- but that wasn't anything new. AJ against John, and then some kickoff stuff. I was in kickoff, but that didn't matter to me, not today. Today, I was concerned about one thing, and one thing only.

Kevin Owens.

He had already beaten up my boyfriend countless times, but tonight was different.

"Alright students, as you know, it isn't required to watch any of the Rumble matches, but if you would like, I won't discourage it," Shane discussed with us.

The matches were starting in a little less than two hours. I wanted to talk to Roman. Charlotte and I walked back to the locker rooms where all the boys were located. The fans were already pouring in, but we weren't doing meet and greets today.

"Chris!" I heard Kevin yell over all the chaos.

I was sick of their crap. Charlotte and I looked at each other. I took Kevin and she took Chris. We both slapped them. Then, I felt hands grab me and pull me away.

"Woah, woah!" I heard Miz yell.

Kevin and Chris were both upset. Roman had grabbed me, and Seth had Charlotte.

"Girls, this wasn't your place to do this. What you did was wrong, you had no right to touch him!" He yelled at us and I wanted to slap him. "Now, just get out."

Roman put me down and he made me look at him. He didn't look happy.

"Sasha, I know you want to protect me, but trust me, I can take care of Kevin."

I sighed. "I know, but I just get scared."

He nodded. "From now on, no more hurting my opponents."

I smiled. "No, promises."

He kissed me and then he went to finish warming up. I turned around to see Seth and Charlotte fighting, but that wasn't anything new.

"Charlotte! I can take care of this, just stop interfering!" Seth said and stomped away.

She looked like she was going to cry and I just opened my mouth. "Char, if he treats you like that, why are you still with him?"

She looked at me. "I love him."

I held my breath. I gave her a hug, which was rare for us. Charlotte and I used to be best friends, but now we were always fighting over the Women's Title. But, I could tell she needed comfort in this moment.

After kick off was over, Becky, Nikki, and myself all watched Charlotte. She was so fierce in the ring, and considering what just happened between her and Seth, I was surprised she was so focused.

"And you winner, and still the WWE Women's Champion, Charlotte!" JoJo announced and the whole gym erupted.

Becky went to go get popcorn, but she made it back just in time for the Kevin and Roman match. I was laughing when Chris went into the cage. And the match was fine, until Chris threw Kevin brass knuckles, but Roman saw and didn't let Kevin hit him.

"This match may end with a new Universal Champion," Nikki shrieked with excitement.

"Don't get your hopes up," Becky commented and I nodded.

I was about to squeal with joy, because Roman had Kevin in a pin, but then Braun Strowman came out and pulled him away. I wanted to jump off the bleachers and hit him.

But he didn't stop, he threw Roman around and eventually, Kevin got the win.

After the match, no one knew how to respond. Then, Shane stepped in.
