Chapter 45

Charlotte's POV

We were in Finn's class that day and I forgot how much I hated NXT Prep until Becky started to bring up past memories there.

"I still can't believe you're dating her, you never see her!" Carmella shrieked at Enzo.

"I see her at work."

"Whatever you're priorities are, Zo," Cass told him, then Carmella stopped him. "Nobody asked for your opinion, Cass."

We all just shut up. I knew we were all wondering the same thing, but nobody had the nerve to ask.

"Did you guys break up?" Alexa popped the question we had all be wondering.

Carmella nodded and we all took our seats. Finn walked in late of course, but at least he was back. We were all getting sick of Shawn Michaels.

"Class, what's all this NXT Prep talk going around?" Finn wondered.

We all shrugged. "No but guys, I have some stories about NXT," Becky blurted out.

I swear if she brought up anything about my past, she would be toast.

"Care to share?" Nikki edged her on.

"Oh yeah, well basically, you guys should've been there for when Charlotte was The Queen of the school," she started and everyone looked at her to continue. "She used to date Austin Aries, and they were the hottest couple."

This is when Seth gave me a look. "I didn't have priorities back then!"

"You still don't have priorities," Dean said pointing to Seth.

"Dean! Not funny!"

"And then you guys thought Dana was bad going after Sasha's man, she used to go after Charlotte's men! Her and Austin got together and then she got herself pregnant."

The whole class gasped with shocked reactions. I glanced at Becky to shut her mouth, but she kept going.

"But, when Asuka found out, she screamed in Japanese, and we had no idea what she was saying, and then Shinsuke came in and they were screaming at each other, but basically Asuka told Dana she had to get an abortion if she wanted to stay with the girls," Becky said and I was hoping she was done.

Needless to say, she was not.

"And then what happened?" John was now in this conversation.

"Well, Dana did it, of course, and by now, Shinsuke had kicked Austin out of school, and he was a senior there too, but whatever, he got expelled, and Charlotte hated Dana."

They were all wowed at this story, but then I remembered that half of these kids didn't go to NXT Prep and hadn't heard all the crazy shit tales that happened there.

"Becky how did you remember all that?" Kevin asked in amazement.

"I mean, for one thing, Charlotte and I are best friends, so she does confide in me, and I just remember all these stories."

Kevin nodded and now I was regretting everything I had ever told Becky. But, I couldn't get mad at her, she wasn't the one who brought up NXT.

"Isn't he a teacher there now?" Finn asked.

Becky shrugged her shoulders and this is when all the looks shifted to me.

"Yes, I dated Austin Aries, get over yourselves!" I screamed.

They were all making a huge deal that I dated this older guy. They could get over it. After class, I grabbed Becky aside and chatted with her.
