Nikki's POV
Payback was terrible. It was this outside of school fight with pretty much no rules. Shane wasn't in charge of it, Stephanie was and every year it was held off campus.
"I swear the next time Braun does something, I am getting a restraining order against him," Sasha complained the next day.
She had every right to be upset. However, Roman was also to blame. He went out there all bandaged up, putting his body on the line. However, what Braun did later wasn't called for.
"It looked pretty serious, so can I ask why you aren't with him?" Natalya asked as we got in line for lunch.
"He told me to come to school."
Charlotte looked appalled. "And you listened? Look if Seth were coughing up blood, I think I'd be glued to my spot."
"That's the difference between Seth and Roman. Seth would want care and help, but Roman just wanted to be left alone."
Charlotte rolled her eyes and I agreed with her. Every time John got injured, I was by his side.
"Are you guys signing up for Summer Slam?" Paige asked as we made our way outside.
"I want too, but I'll see what my summer plans hold," Becky started. "I mean, Sheamus and I supposed to go back to Ireland to see our parents, but I have a feeling that Sheamus will bail."
Bayley snapped her head towards Becky. "What makes you said that?"
"I don't know, he just seems to be canceling on me a lot lately. And it's always to hang out with Cesaro, no offense to your boyfriend."
Bayley shook her head. "None taken."
Lana came running out. "I am so mad!"
"Why?" Naomi asked.
"Because now that I'm finally happy, Baron won't leave me the hell alone, and I thought Alexa would take care of him, but she dumped him already."
"Not my fault that Baron got suspended and he wasn't really my type," Alexa defended.
I was eating my lunch when all of a sudden I got a text from Brie.
We need to talk now. Meet me at the diner.
"Sorry, guys, but I have to go. Tell Goldust I left on family terms."
They all nodded and I texted Nattie why I was leaving. I knew she'd understand and I trusted her with my information.
"Nicole, where are you going?" John stopped me at my locker.
"Brie wanted to meet me about something."
He nodded and then escorted me to the door. I kissed him and then went to my car.
When I got to the diner I was sort of upset, because I thought Brie could handle herself, I mean, she was the one who graduated early.
"Brianna, this had better be important, I left school for you," I stated, using her real name.
"Nikki, just please just listen to me," she pleaded. She looked upset and her eyes looked full of guilt.
"Okay, I'm listening."
She took a deep breath. "First off, I just want to tell you that this makes me a terrible person, and I deserve to go to hell for this, and I don't know how to ex-" I cut her off.
"For crying out loud, Brie, just get to the point!"
"Last night I saw Randy Orton."
I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean saw him? You see him all the time."
