Dean's POV
My three day suspension had started. Three days of no school and my favorite part: no Miz for three days.
"Well, bye Dean," Roman said the next morning.
I slept in about an extra hour. Then I watched tv all day. It was kind of boring actually. I thought it would be better. But it was actually dragging along. I decided to go get some food. I went down to Triple H's desk and signed out. Every time I went somewhere, I had to sign in and out on a sheet.
I walked down to the cafeteria that the dormitory provided, and I got a sandwich. I went back to the dorm and just ate it and went through my Instagram feed. All the fans were tagging me in fanart. There was this one of the Shield and I assumed that they didn't know we broke up, or they wanted us to reunite, which was not happening because I hated Seth. Suddenly, Ryback entered my dorm.
"Ryback, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked frustrated.
"I heard you had suspension, so I wanted to say hi."
"Ryback, we aren't really friends..." I trailed off.
"Bye!" He yelled and ran out.
He is so weird.
After school, Roman came back with Dana, and I couldn't leave. I had to stay here. Maybe someone would come in and talk to me.
"Roman, I told Charlotte about the dance and how we're going together," Dana admitted.
"Sorry, can our talk wait? I'm playing Pokémon Go right now," he said and she sighed.
"He's always playing that dumb game," I mumbled.
"Oh, Dean, I didn't even know you were here," she laughed.
Is she serious?
"Yeah."
"Well, are you going to leave? I want time with Roman."
Bitch, this is my dorm.
"I can't leave."
"And why not?"
"Did you not see the slip on the door? I'm suspended!"
"Fine, Roman and I will go somewhere else then," she sassed and grabbed him. Then they were out the door.
She was such a dumb girl. Why did she have to be so annoying? She literally knew how to piss someone off to an extent.
Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. I was not in the mood to answer this, but I did anyway.
"John?" I answered the door.
"Yeah, can I come in?"
I let him in and then we talked. I told him about Dana and Roman going to the dance, and then he told me about school and what I had missed. Apparently, we were getting new teachers the day after I came back from my suspension.
"Who are the new teachers? Do you know?" I asked.
"Nope."
"Why would they come this late in the year?"
John shrugged and I left it at that. I wanted to know who these new people were. If they whoever they were just going to come in here, and think they were something, they could think again.
I just waited for Roman to come back. I was ready for my suspension to be over. I really thought I would enjoy this time off from school, but it was boring as hell.
Enzo's POV
I was chilling in my dorm with Cass, studying for Bray, when I heard a knock at the door. I got up to answer it. I was surprised at who it was.
"Baby Enz!" My cousin, Carmella cheered and gave me a hug.
"Hey, Caramel!" I said as she hugged me.
The nicknames from our childhood had stuck. Cass became my best friend in second grade, so Carmella already knew him, and had a nickname for him as well.
"Big Cassie Cass!" She said jumping to give him a high five.
"How many times do I have to tell you? It's just Big Cass, no Cassie before that?" Cass sighed.
Carmella shrugged it off. "So, what's this place like?" She asked chomping her gum.
"It's great!" I yelled.
"I'm thinking about coming here next year, I mean considering it's too late for me to join now," she said smacking her gum once more.
That gum has got to go.
I was shocked really. I had no idea Carmella was even interested in attending here. I could've told her a long time ago what this school was like, but we hadn't been close lately. I mean, she was back home and I was here.
"Caramel, that's great!" I encouraged her, still shocked.
"How great would that be? Baby Enz, we could have classes together!" She squealed.
Cass rolled his eyes and I gave him a look. Carmella always was a popular girl, but she was a bit annoying. She irritates Cass because she just didn't stop talking.
Like ever.
And because they dated a while back, but that relationship failed.
"Well, I'm glad I came by, but I have to go now," Carmella say standing up and placing her hat on her head. Backwards of course.
"Bye, I'm glad you stopped by," I said and she gave me one last hug.
"Bye, Cass," she said and he was surprised at what she just said.
"You, you, you-" Carmella cut him off.
"Yes, I called you Cass. I can listen when I want to," she said and headed towards the door.
After she left, I closed the door and then I went back to studying for a few more minutes. Cass kept firing me questions and I answered all of the correctly.
Once the session of studying ended, I took a shower. I thought about how great it would be if Carmella actually did attend here. Considering we were cousins, we really don't see each other as much as we used to. Seeing her made me realize how much I miss her sometimes.
"Enzo! Are you done?" Cass yelled from outside the door.
"Yeah!" I yelled as I stepped out.
"Look, I'm sorry for my behavior toward your cousin," he started and I nodded for him to continue. "And, truth be told, I did miss her a little. She's so hyper, and very fun to be around."
I left our conversation at that.
