Chapter 26

* So, I wanted to do a staff POV, because I feel like I haven't really introduced them, so here we go!*

The Miz's POV

The staff and I decided to go out for lunch. There was a new restaurant in town, called The Viper Nest, and according to the students, it was ran by Randy Orton.

"Ugh, I just want to sit down," Brock complained.

"Calm down, we'll get seated whenever," Bray told him.

Suddenly, a man who looked he just graduated, came to our service. He led us to a back booth, and handed us menus. Then, he came back for our drink order.

"Sorry for the wait, I'm Wade, and I'll be your server today," he said giving us silverware.

He looked familiar. "Question, did you use to be in The League Of Nations?"

"Oh, yeah, but after we broke up, I just gave up on wrestling completely. Now I work here," Wade or King Barrett answered us.

"Okay, cool, but anyway, I'll have a sweet tea."

Brock, Dolph, Finn, Undertaker, Summer Rae, Tyler, and The Rock ordered water. Darren got lemonade, Zack ordered a Pepsi, Bray asked for a Mountain Dew, and CM got a beer, or course.

"So, what do you guys think of this place?" Zack asked after he looked over the menu.

"I've seen better," Brock complained crossing his arms over his chest.

He just didn't like Randy.

"Alright, here are your drinks," he put down all of our drinks in front of us. "And what can I get you guys to eat today?"

"I'll have a crab salad with a light dressing," Darren ordered.

Zack was next. "I want a fish sandwich with a side of onion rings."

"Could I please have duck?" Finn chorused.

"Duck?" Dolph asked him.

"Yes I want the duck, with a side of fries."

"And just surprise me," Brock said slyly.

Undertaker and Rock ordered steaks with vegetables on the side, Tyler got a salad, I ordered biscuits and gravy, and so did Bray, Dolph ordered pork of some sort, while Summer Rae got a chicken penne, and CM ordered some shrimp.

"Okay, I'll put those right in."

The wait wasn't long at all, except for the steaks, considering there was one cook. Randy himself.

He had four employees. Eva Marie, Charlotte, Wade (King) Barrett, and Bo from the Social Outcasts, he dropped out last year. Randy, was the only cook.

"Remember when we hated Randy?" I questioned.

"Yes! And when we drove the bus out to his house?" Bray now joined in.

"Oh yeah, and I was like abort mission! We have to get out of here!" Brock yelled.

"Brock, calm down," Finn instructed.

Nobody took Finn seriously. I mean, he was the smallest man wrestler, and he was so small. In fact, most of the teachers weren't taken seriously because the students just didn't care.

I would say that Darren, Zack, Brock, Undertaker, and myself were taken seriously.

"It's a shame Triple H couldn't make it," Dolph sighed.

"It really is, but he does like to eat lunch with Stephanie," Darren confessed.

Wade came back with our food and we all dug in. The meal they surprised Brock with was a egg breakfast skillet, which he found very satisfying. After we ate, Tyler snapped a selfie of all of us. And while we waited for the bill, we all made small talk.

"So, Dolph, talk around school is you had and affair with one of our students, Dana Brooke," Undertaker asked.

Undertaker knew most of the gossip, because the kids really liked him, and told him almost all of their problems. The Rock was well liked too, but some kids didn't take his class.

"Okay, let me get one thing straight with all of you. I didn't sleep with Dana, she literally made it up to get attention. I have a baby on the way though," Dolph told us all.

"Woah, what? Someone is having a baby with you? Who?" Finn said almost leaning over the table.

"Summer Rae."

We were all shocked. They were having a baby together, and no one even knew. Not even Undertaker.

We were walking out, when CM Punk found this thing. It was a snake that you could sit on and ride around the restaurant in. It played The Lion Sleeps Tonight while you rode around. He had a beer in his hand and was yelling around how fun it was.

"You guys have to try this!" He yelled.

And Finn had found the restaurant's snake. They had it kept in a cage in the back and you could pay to feed it.

"Eat it, God damnit!" Finn said, dangling food.

We left the Viper Nest, with our thoughts in our head. I planned on telling Renee Young, a student who was interested in journalism, but that class wasn't offered, so she just wrote in a notebook. According to the kids, she wasn't very popular.

We arrived at school, ready to go back to teaching. I didn't want to, and I really wanted to talk to Renee Young, who I had earlier today.

I found what class she was in and called that number. She was with Zack, so he'd probably let her out for a few minutes or so.

"Mr. Miz, you wanted to see me?" She said frantically as she stepped out in the hallway.

"Yes. I just have a few questions to ask you."

"Oh, um me?"

"Yes, you. Is it true you write a newspaper?"

"Yeah, I keep notes in my notebook, but Stephanie hasn't liked any of my stories to publish them."

Just then Daniel came up to us.

"Miz, staff meeting, and Miss. Young, shouldn't you be in class?" Daniel asked.

"I wanted to talk to her," I started, then I looked at Daniel.

"Do you think this school should have a newspaper?"

He nodded. "I don't see why not."

"Because Miss. Young has some very good ideas, but Stephanie has had no interest in them."

Daniel took her notebook. "How about this, I'll give this to Shane, and see what he thinks?"

She nodded and then Daniel disappeared down the hall. I was going to tell her something else, but she had already dashed down the hall.
