Chapter 22

Charlotte's POV

It was time for me to take my place back at this school. Carmella, took my reputation a little, but I can gain it back. And these new girls, they were going to have to learn their place.

"Charlotte, you're overthinking this," Paige told me from the floor. 

Was I overthinking this?

"No, I'm not."

She rolled her eyes and then went back to her phone. Nikki and Brie were sitting on my bed, and I was standing. Sasha and Becky were here too.

"So, what do you guys think of the new recruits?" Becky asked.

"I hate all of them," I complained.

"Me too, except for Bayley, she's my home girl!" Sasha exclaimed and I rolled my eyes.

I wish I could like the new girls, I really did, but they just made me mad. Especially Carmella. She stole my boyfriend away from me, and now I am Spring Fling Dateless.

"I mean, Eva doesn't even know that we wrestle differently. She thinks we wrestle like the guys," Nikki commented with a disgusted face.

"What the hell? Summer Rae and AJ Lee can teach her!" Paige yelled.

I was getting tired of all the commotion. What I really wanted was some alone time with Carmella. Cass had given me her number earlier, and I texted her saying she should meet me at the diner. I hadn't told the other girls and wasn't planning on telling them either.

"Guys, look, I appreciate you all coming over and trying to cheer me up, but I really just want some time alone," I confessed and they all scurried out the door.

I walked down to the diner. I saw Carmella was with Seth when I got there, ugh. He walked her out and they did their gross kissing, and then she saw me and ran to me.

"Hey! You wanted to meet me?" She said, completely oblivious that I had just seen her and Seth together.

"Yes, could we go inside?"

We walked in and we had a new waiter today. Chris.

Not good.

"So, Seth's ex, what can I get for you?" He smirked.

"Ha ha, very funny, Jericho. Anyway, I'll take sweet tea."

"And Seth's current girlfriend, what can I get for you?"

"Water."

Chris walked away and I was glad, he just pissed me off so bad.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" She said after Chris was gone.

"Just exactly why did you sleep with my boyfriend?" I said, getting right down to business.

Suddenly, Chris returned with our drinks, and we told him that we wouldn't be ordering food, just the drinks.

"Look, it was an accident. I didn't even know he was dating you," she confessed sipping her water.

"I know, that's what he said. But, I loved him, and he said he loved me," I said starting to cry.

"Hey, I know you hate me, but I know what you're going through."

I looked at her. "You do?"

"Yeah, believe it or not, Cass and I used to be a thing, but then he cheated on me..." she trailed off.

I got up and sat down next to her. "No way, you and Cass?"
