Chapter 51

Dean's POV

Having the IC Title was great. I was also the only member of The Shield who had held that title and the only one who had a title at the moment. Of course, The Rumble, I'm hoping that will change.

"Dean!" I heard Nikki call from behind me.

"Nikki, what's up?"

She paused and then pulled out a poster with her and John's faces on it. "John and I are running for Spring Fling King and Queen."

I raised a brow. "Does he know about this?"

She shook her head. "And don't tell him, I know he won't want to, but it's always been my dream to be Queen of a dance."

I closed my locker and we walked to third block, which was gym for both of us. During gym, Kevin and Chris wouldn't shut their mouths. We still did the assigned seat thing, but now Mr. Angle actually had us do things.

Suddenly, AJ came in clapping. "Congratulations, Mr. Angle on being admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame!"

He shot him a look. "Mr. Styles, stop flattering me, I'm not in the mood for it."

AJ sat down and I wanted to laugh. It was exciting that Mr. Angle was in the Hall of Fame, and he did love compliments, but if you were just kissing his ass to get your grade up, then he got upset with your flattering comments.

Then, Gallows and Anderson came in clapping, but AJ put his hand up. "It's no use boys, I already tried."

They took a seat and after that we had a match. Cesaro and Sheamus defended their titles against Gallows and Anderson. I couldn't figure out why they just didn't wait until the Rumble. Cesaro and Sheamus retained of course, which made the gym happy.

I was bored however. Roman wasn't in school, but I wasn't expecting him to be. Seth surprised me though. I was fully expecting him to be here, but I guess he injured his ribs. Again.

After school, I went on a McDonald's run. I wanted chicken nuggets and Seth and Roman had texted me saying they wanted some. I just decided to pick them up.

"Hey Dean, how was school?" Seth asked.

I groaned. "It sucked because neither of you were there."

Roman laughed.

"Roman, it's not funny."

We drove to McDonald's and placed our order. I pulled up to the window and was surprised to see Charlotte working.

"That'll be $17.75."

I handed her the money and that's when she realized it was me.

"Dean, sorry, I had no idea it was you."

I laughed. "It's fine."

She handed me my order. "Wow, this is a lot of food for just you."

"It's not all mine, I have two pigs in the back."

This is when Seth actually payed attention.

"I am not a pig!" He stated and then he saw Charlotte.

"Charlotte! Dean why didn't you tell me she was working? Rude."

I rolled my eyes. Seth could be so dramatic.

"Did you guys see what Chris put on Twitter?" Roman asked as we pulled out.

"What did Peasant say this time?" Seth asked taking a bite of his BigMac.

"He said; "I will not get in the cage at Royal Rumble, even though I'd look like a sexy piñata.""

Seth groaned and I couldn't agree more. This Kevin, Seth, Chris, and Roman thing was getting old.
