When a threat of having to close her grandfathers candy store Spencer Anderson-Hastings and her six year old Ruthann travel to a not so big city Rosewood in making of some extra cash her best friend Hanna Marin offers her a job at Cavanaughs. The biggest department store, Spencer is thrilled. Ever since her highschool lover Keith Anderson passed away 3 years ago at War in Iraq, it's been hard on Spencer to take care of Ruthann and the store. Her excitement doesn't last when the evil Yvonne Phillips (the stores fixer upper) destroys the Christmas Spirit, throwing away everything that gives the true meaning of Christmas and replaces it with things that don't mean anything. It's up to Spencer and the department owners nephew Toby Cavanaugh (who takes an interest in Spencer) help get Christmas back! Will they ever get Christmas back??
