She doesn't remember you

*takes place after Toby leaves for Maine*

He hasn't been to Rosewood in 4 years. He left everything and everyone behind to start a new life.

He left her behind.

The last thing he remembered he rubbing in her face how he couldn't life his life without Yvonne, and how their relationship was close to perfect and he wanted to start a family with her. After he left, he kept in contact mainly with Emily and Caleb. He tried to reach Spencer but she never picked up her phone. He would ask about her to Emily and Caleb occasionally and they both said the same thing

"She's hanging in there"

but little did he know, it was more than that.

It was October 20th, his father's birthday. His 59th birthday and his step mother is throwing a small family party. So that means he would go back to Rosewood to see his family, friends, her

He arrived to Rosewood a few days early to get settled in his own room. Yvonne stayed behind because she was packed with her work.

He pulled up to the driveway of his childhood home and stepped out. He felt the cool breeze hit his face. He looked at his surrounding. He remembered when A...Cece blew up his house. It took months to rebuild the house. His family left to Philly to a cousins house to stay until the house was done while he stayed in Rosewood in his loft.

He then look a look down the road and saw Emily Fields house.

It was still the same.

He suddenly remembered when his mailbox was destroyed. He went to go clean up the mess and he took a glance at her window and locked eyes with her.

Spencer Hastings.

He felt a tiny spark when they locked eyes.

He sighed at the memory.

He went up to his door and went inside

"Hey Toby, you're here early" his step mother , Amanda smiled

"Yeah I thought it would be good to come early before the rest of the family gets here"

"ah, so no Yvonne?" she asked

"She had to stay behind for work" he replied as he took off his leather jacket and place it on the coat rack that was next to the fireplace

Amanda quietly scoffs under her breath. She wasn't that much of a fan with Yvonne. Maybe it was because she was used to Spencer. She really cared for Spencer and saw her as her own daughter. The thought of Spencer being her daughter in law made her happy. She quickly frowned knowing the horrible thing that happened to her 10 days after he left and it brings her pain to think about it

"Yvonne isn't that bad of a person Amanda" Toby said defensively. He rolled his eyes knowing that she still doesn't liker her

He walked passed her and went upstairs to his old room. He vaguely remembers living in his room. Mainly because Jenna had haunted those memories, so when he turned 18 he finally moved out and was away from her.

He remembered telling Spencer about moving out of the house and into the loft.

"Toby that's great, I'm so happy for, You deserve this so much" she said looking around at the partially empty loft

He happily picked her up and kissed her passionately

"How about we celebrate in the bedroom?" he asked seductively

"ooh sounds like a plan" she smiled

"Dad" Toby greeted when he went downstairs

"Toby, I wasn't expected you here so early" he smiled as he gave his son a hug

"I wanted to surprise you Dad" he smiled

"I'm going to the store, do you need anything? he asked putting back on his leather jacket

"Yeah, can you get me those BBQ Pringles, I have a sudden urge for something savory." Daniel said

"Of course, I'll be back" Toby said. He got into his truck and drove to the Rosewood Grocery Store. He parked right in front and got out and walked inside.

He walked down each aisle until where the snacks were.

When he walked passed the 7th aisle, he took a glance and suddenly stopped in his tracks.

He couldn't believe his eyes. There she was

Spencer Hastings.

He noticed she cut her long beautiful hair and it now it was right on her shoulder. She dyed her hair a darker brown. It was curly. He loved when her hair was curly. He looked up and down at her noticing she was wearing high wasted jeans that showed off her long legs, a sweater crop top and her brown combats boots she always wore.

He didn't know how he would go up to her. Last time he saw her, he broke her heart. He tried to call her but she never picked up the phone.

He began walking towards her

"this is happening" he said to himself as he continued to walk close to her. His hands began to sweat as well as his forehead.

"S-Spencer?" he said nervously

She quickly turned around and noticed the man before her

"yes?" she replied

"hey,h-how a-are you?"

"I'm great and you are?" she said

Toby stood back confused. Was she playing him?

"Look Spencer, I know we left things on a rough patch, but come one don't pretend you don't know me"

"Im sorry, but what's going on, who are you and what are you talking about?' she said

"Hey Spencer I- oh my gosh Toby" Alison said as she came from the next aisle.

"Alison, who is this guy?" Spencer asked

"I'll explain later but why don't you take the cart to the register okay?" Alison smiled sweetly

"Sure okay" she said as she took the cart from her and made her way to the register

"Look Toby, you can't be around her anymore okay" Alison spoke when Spencer left their sight

"What is going on? Why cant she remember me" he yells not caring who was looking at them

"it's a long story but I'll keep it short. She felt crappy when you left. You really broke her heart. She decided to leave Rosewood and she crashed into a brick wall. The car was smashed badly Toby. It took about ten people to get he out. Emily and I got a call from the hospital and we went over there fast. She was in a coma for 3 weeks and when she woke up, we went to see her and she couldn't remember anything. Not even her own name. So we took Spencer in our care until she starts to remember, but there are times where she keeps forgetting." Alison explained

Toby had tears running down his face. It was his fault

He caused this

"Please, I just want to talk with her, I don't want her to not remember me" he cried

"I'm sorry Toby. You have another life , with another woman, maybe it's best if she doesn't remember you. I don't want her to be broken again" with that Alison left the aisle leaving a crying Toby behind.
