Who would've thought my mom would actually taking a liking to Caleb. Over the years Caleb and I have been close friends. Not only that she's also allowed him to stay with us for a while. My mom is running for state senate and she's going against some guy I forgot. Turns out it's Toby's girlfriend's father. I know right Toby and I broke up. He chose his job over me. His job was important and he couldn't handle long distant. I saw him for the first time a few days ago. He's building a house. We talked and..he hugged me. It was kinda awkward. I try to avoid him like all the time. Caleb and Toby aren't as close as they were before. I have no idea why. So now it's just my mom Caleb and I helping.

"Mrs.Hastings, is there anything else I could do for you?" Caleb asked

"Just go online and see the results..and I told you call me Veronica" My mom lightly hit Caleb over the head. "I'm going upstairs to shower" my mom said. She headed upstairs

"So how's my mom doing" I asked

"ooh it's neck and neck, the guy is close but not too close to pass your mom" he said

"Oh good, that's good. Thank's for all your help Caleb" I said

"Anything for my favorite"

"Why did you and Hanna break up"

"I don't remember honestly. I met her fiance he seems like a fine guy"

"Yeah I met him too, are you going to the wedding"

"Uh I don't know

There was silence. Not an awkward silence but a good silence

"I saw Toby...that jerk" he said

"Yeah I've been avoiding him"

"good you should do that" he said. I smiled and he smiles back. I like his smile. Once he smiles a thousand flowers bloom. wait am I liking him, I can't do that to Hanna "Well i'm going to-

I went over to the door and there stood.....Toby ugh. Why. I put on a fake smile

"Toby, what brings you here" I said

"Just walking around and I thought I visited

"Why?"

"I can't visit a friend"

"We're not friends, not like that just...friends...uh Caleb look who's here" I faked smiled. Toby's face frowned when I said Caleb's name. Caleb came up and put his arm over my shoulder. Why is he doing that.

"oh..hey Caleb" Toby said through his teeth

"What are you doing here" Toby asked

"I live here" Caleb gave him a cocky smile

Toby's eyes widen "Why" he said

"Hanna and I broke up and plus I'm helping Veronica"

"Helping Mrs.Hastings with that"

"Help her win for State Senate,in fact all of us are. Ezra, Spencer of course, Emily, Aria, Hanna, Alison her fiance Mona and Lucas" Caleb said

"Your mom is running for state senate" Toby asked me

"yup, I was shocked myself"

"Spencer, i'm going to head to the barn don't stay up too late" Caleb says
