Toby's POV

When I got the message of Spencer and Caleb, I immediately went over to Spencer's barn to give Caleb a piece of my mind. I wonder how Hanna feels about this. Her best friend secretly dating her ex. I told Caleb how I felt about Spencer. So many things were running through my head. As soon as I drove to Spencer's barn I knocked on the door aggressively. A few minutes later Spencer opened the door.

"Toby what are you-"

I rushed right passed her and walked into the kitchen where Caleb was. He got up and walked over. Next thing you know PUNCH. I punched Caleb real hard sending him backwards.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SPENCER MEANS TO ME AND YOU GO HAVE SEX WITH HER. I KNOW YOU TWO ARE DATING" I yelled. I turned to Spencer who just have her mouth opened. I havent been this angry since I found Andrew and punched him as well.

"Oh my gosh" Spencer yelled. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain on my face. Caleb just hit me. WHACK. Another hit to my face. I wiped the blood from my mouth. Now it's on. I threw back some punches, he throws in kicks, uppercuts, as do I. It's just a big fight.

Spencer's POV

How did Toby find out. Who told him about Caleb and I. wait. Did Toby just say he loves me. Oh my gosh so many things are running through my head. next thing you know there's a huge fight between the two. As I'm watching I panicked. Who do I protect. Do i pull Caleb off of Toby or Toby off of Caleb. I didn't know what to do. CRASH. Glasses were getting broken. Now I'm going to have to step in. Before Toby could throw another punch I stepped in front of Caleb. I grabbed Toby's arm to prevent the hit.

"No Toby stop it" I yelled. "What is wrong with you, I've never seen you act like this before" I spat

"No what's wrong with you. How could you do this to me t-to Hanna. She's your best friend for crying out loud" Toby yelled

" 1. Both you and I broke up years ago, 2. Hanna was the one that gave us the blessing of dating one another and 3. aren't you dating someone." I told him

"Hanna was the one who gave you the blessing" he asked. They both nodded.

"Caleb but that's not okay with me" Toby told him

"Dude that night when you called, you said that you were over her and was dating someone else when I told you Hanna and I broke up, we didn't plan on this to happen" he said

"So what happened?" he asked

"When Hann and I broke up I needed someone to talk to. You wasn't answering your phone, I'm not that close with Aria, Ezra, Alison and Emily so I decided to call the person that was close to me, Spencer. She didn't pick up her phone so I drove to her place. When I got there I found out that You and her broke up, FYI saw that coming and we both just started talking. One thing lead to the other and we kissed. Now we are dating" he explained.

"what does Caleb have that I don't" Toby asked me

I sighed "He just makes it so easy to let everything out. I don't get yelled at when I tell him something or grab me. He doesn't run away when he gets mad, he stuck by me when I needed someone. He doesn't get frustrated when we are trying to find out who A was. He gives me compliments every time. You only complimented me once and that was the fashion show before we found out that Alison was alive. But you sure as hell give Emily compliments like she's your girIfriend. I get to see him everyday since he doesn't have to go on some job thing or police seminar. Those times when you weren't there he was, someone was. When I was in Radley the girls were there you weren't, when I had my relapse you only stayed for like a day and went somewhere else, Dean was there. That whole barrel situation you judge me and got mad and never told us what was in the barrel. You got mad when Jonny and I broke into the gallery, I did that so he cant get what belong to him, just like I helped you break into Radley to get answers for your mom. You got mad when Caleb and I disposed the knife and you grabbed me yelling at me that You dont want to hear so you didn't want to hear it but then got mad again when I didn't want to tell. YOU EVEN LOCKED ME IN MY OWN STEAMROOM TO DIE JUST BECAUSE I KISSED WREN WHEN WE BROKE UP. Caleb isn't perfect either he left Hanna for a ghost, he's not complicated." I finally admitted it. When I finished both boys just looked at me. Toby has tears pouring down his face.

"I'm sorry" he muttered

"what" I said

"I said I'm sorry for everything, for not being there when you needed me, for choosing my job over you, for not showing you enough love,for always running away instead of fixing them, for everything" he apologized 'I'm sorry Caleb". We both nodded accepting his apology.

" I guess I should go now" he said. With that he left.

"You okay" I asked Caleb

"Yeah babe" I kissed him where Toby punched him

He sighs "Maybe he's right"

"huh?" I asked

"if the roles were reversed I would be angry if I saw Hanna and Toby and you will be too if it were Toby and Emily" he said

I never thought about that, it really hit me

"Yeah your right its for the best" I spoke

"You will always still be my best friend" he said

"and so will you'

The next day

Toby's POV

I sat down on my couch drowning my pain in beer. I started drinking after Spencer and I broke up. I thought about what she said to me. She's right I was never really there when she needed me the most. My face still hurts. I really want Spencer back, and that's what i'm going to do. I got up and showered. I put on a red shirt, with blue jeans and oxfords. I went to the store then drove to her house. When I got to her house I knocked, within 3 minutes she answered

"Are you gonna come in and punch me next" she spat. Can't blame her though

"No i just wanna give you this" I hand her flowers, chocolate, and a bear that's says I'm Beary Sorry.

"I'm Beary sorry" I smiled. she smiled back

"Apology accepted" she said

"Where's Caleb" I asked

"We decided that it would be best if we just stay friends, so to avoid hanky panky he moved out and is now living with one of his college friends" she said.

"really" i said trying not to sound too happy. Out of no where I pulled her close to me and kissed her so passionately and she returned. It felt so good again to kiss her. I miss this and I miss us.

"Toby" she said

"Spencer I want you back, ever since you returned to Rosewood. I thought about what you said and I'm terribly sorry. Please if you give me one more chance I promise that I will be the best boyfriend ever and give you the attention you need. I-I love you so much." I confessed

"I love you too and I want you to move in with me" she said.

"Of course let me just get my things" I said,

A few hours later I come with all my stuff and move in with Spencer. We ate watched movies and went to bed.

"I love you" she whispers

"I love you too"

Spencer's POV

As soon as Toby fell asleep I got up grabbed my phone and dialed the number

"hello" the person said

"Yeah it's me. it worked he's back in my arms"

"See I told you it would, he's a very jealous person who still loves you"

"I know and thanks, oh and I hope your gf didn't mind"

"Nah she knows what I was doing. As long as I'm helping a friend she won't mind"

"Miranda is lucky to have you"

"and Toby is lucky to have you, if he is being a crack head let me know okay?"

"okay" I smiled

"Good night Spence"

"Good night Caleb"

I hung up the phone and smiled. I walked over to the bed where Toby is sleeping and climbed in. As soon as I get in he wraps his arms around me. I smile again and fall asleep.
