Beauty and the Beast

"Hey Toby" Yvonne said coming down the stairs
Toby was making himself a plate of sandwich when she called for him
"I'm in the kitchen" he shouts back. She walks over to him and handed him a well designed card
"What's this?" He said grabbing the card
"Rosewood is having a costume party and it's Disney theme" she said excitedly
"It says that we are assigned to costumes and whoever matches to that theme, we have to dance with them" he continues
"Ooh what did I get?" She smiled
Toby scans through the card "you are Snow White" He says
"WHAT! I hate Snow White, why cant I be Tiana or something" she groans crossing her arms over her chest like a spoiled brat "what did you get?" She asked
"The Beast from Beauty and the Beast" He says. He wonders who will he dance with?
"When do we go?" She asked
"It's this Thursday so like in 3 days.
"I cant wait" She claps
"Me too" he fakes smile. He wasn't big into parties but Yvonne would have a huge fit and he would hear her complain so he's going to avoid that

"So" Hanna says as she tries on clothes looking at the mirror
"So...what?" Spencer continues
"You are going to the costume party right?" Hanna said in a duh tone
"Well after everything I've been through with Mary and Alex and Toby..why not. I could use some fun" she smiles
"Did your card who you have to dress as" Hanna asked taking a pic in front the mirror with her outfit
"Um" Spencer reaches for the card that was on her desk and reads it
"I'm going as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and everyone has to dance with that person that matches the theme" she says placing it on her desk
"How about you?" She ask Hanna
"I'm going as Rapunzel"she says proudly
"Who you taking?"they both asked them giggles
"I'm taking Dean and I assume you taking Caleb"
"Caleb can't. He's working so Lucas said he will accompany me, and luckily for me. He's Eugene so we both win"
"Wished the others could go but I'm glad it's you and me"

Thursday
It was going on 8:30 pm and everyone was heading to the center of Rosewood where the Party was being held. There were fairies and Godmothers and witches and superhero's princesses and prince. Basically DisneyWorld in Florida. They had games and pony carriage rides, food and lots and lots of music

With Toby
Toby and Yvonne arrived at the party. They both looked in awe at the place.
"This place is beautiful" she smiles
"Uh huh" he said not paying attention to her
Yvonne eyes went over to the games
"Let's play some games now" she demanded
"Fine" He huffs a breath.
They walk over to the game and Yvonne made Toby pay until he won her a giant bear
"The object of the game is to use the rod to get the duck. The more you play, the better chance you'll get the big toy.Begin" the worker said

Toby won a few times but it wasn't enough to win the bear
"Come on Toby I want the bear"
"I'm running low on money okay, I would like to use it for myself"
"No, you're going to use all that money until I get that bear understand" she yelled
"Then you do it" he shoves the rod in her arms.
"I'll be at the snack bar" he storms off

He gets to the snack bar to see what he can eat. As he looks at the menu, and orders french fries and a small drink
"Can I have Fries and a drink please?" He ask
"What kind of drink?"
"A beer" He says handing him the money
"Sure" The guy politely smiles
As Toby waits for his order his phones. He rolls his eyes and looks at the caller I.D
Yvonne
"What is it Yvonne?"
"Where are you, you took off when I needed more money"
"I went to get something to eat. I'm waiting for it now" he sighs
"Well hurry up so I..I mean we can play more games" she said
"When I'm done and please don't rush me" he hangs up before she can say anything.
"Sir, your fries and beer" the cashier said.
"Thank you" Toby smiles.
"Toby is that you?" A voice said. Toby turned around and saw his old partner from the force
"Lorenzo?" Toby smiled. They both man hugged
"What is up man, heard you quit the force" Lorenzo said
"Yeah I also moved out of Rosewood"
"Aw dude I'm so happy for you and Spencer" he smiled
Toby's heart beats a little fast. He doesn't know that he and Spencer broke up years ago
"Actually Spencer and I broke up 3 years ago" Toby said sadly
"WHAT, man I'm sorry I didn't know" Lorenzo apologized
"It's okay"
"So you in a relationship?" Lorenzo asked
"Sadly yes, but I'm on the edge of breaking up with her. I just need to find the right time" Toby confessed. He looks down at his watch
"I have to go before Yvonne thinks I'm cheating" Toby jokes. They said goodbye to each other and he makes his way to Yvonne
"What took you so long?" She yelled
"I ran into an old friend from the force"
"Well let's go play-
"ATTENTION ITS TIME FOR THE DANCE. PLEASE GO FIND YOUR PARTNER" the announcer said
"Well I'll see you after the dance Yvonne" Toby took off looking for his partner.

With Spencer
Spencer, Dean, Hanna, and Lucas arrived just in time for the dance
"I cannot believe we are late" Lucas said
"Yeah because somebody had to make sure her earrings matches her outfit" Spencer says looking at Hanna
"Hey I wear earrings or wear nothing at all" Hanna spat back
Spencer rolled her eyes and gave her attention to Dean
"Thanks for accompanying me to the dance" she smiles at Dean
"Anything for a friend, plus maybe I can find some eye candy" he says checking out the girls
"Well let's go find our partners. See you guys" Spencer smiled before leaving.
She began to look by the snack bar but didn't find the Beast. She looked by the bathrooms. By the games, by the stage.
Finally she followed a path in the woods that lead to a beautiful lake and a gazebo where there was a guy standing. He wore a dark blue suit with flowery Patterns. Gold going down from the neck all the way down.
This must be her partner. The Beast to her beauty.
She walked over to him and stepped onto the gazebo
"Excuse me but I believe you're my partner. I'm Belle" she tapped on his shoulder
"Thank God I f- TOBY" she exclaimed as he turned around. She hasn't seen him since he left
"Spencer?" He widen his eyes
"This is so not awkward at all" she said sarcastically
"H-how are you doing?" He asked not taking his eyes off her. She looks so beautiful and just like the actual Belle. She was wearing a gold dress that sparkle and shines. Her was was in a neat bun. She was wearing little to almost no makeup which he always loved about her and lastly of course her award winning smile
"I'm fine and you? How's Maine and Yvonne?" she asked
"Good" he lied
"I know you're lying but I'm not gonna push you"
"Attention we will began the dance. Everyone to the center of the party with your partner"
"Guess we should go" Toby said sticking his arm out "you ready" he politely smiled
"Sure" she gave a small smile placing her arm with his as they walk back to the party
Everyone was there with their partners
Snow White and Prince Charming
Cinderella and Prince Charming
Tiana and Naveen
Mickey and Mini Mouse
And so many more

'Tales as old as time plays'
"Well I guess this is our song" Toby smiles down at Spencer. "May I have this dance Beauty" He ask sticking his hand out
"Yes" She says.
He quickly takes her to the middle and places one hand on hers and the other on her lower waist as they began swaying to the music. He pulls her close.
"Did you come alone?" He asked
"No. I came with Hanna Lucas and Dean"
"Dean? You're Sober coach Dean, didn't know you guys were dating" he scoffed
"No we aren't dating, just friends"
"Oh" he said with a little hope
"I'm happy you're getting the life you wanted Toby. Yvonne is a lucky girl"
"To be honest, it hasn't been the life I wanted. She's more selfish, everything is her her her. It's not what I pictured. So I got a promotion at the carpentry-
"Back in Rosewood" she finished
"Yup. Which means I won't be in Maine anymore and it will be a good excuse to break up with Yvonne" he said looking into Spencer's beautiful eyes he always adored
"If being in Rosewood makes you happy, go for it. Plus you have many friends here you would see again"
"Yup" He says twirling her then dipping her
"Wow" she said coming back up. "You've gotten better. Last time you dropped me" she smirked
"I've been practicing..for you" he confessed
"Why me?" She asked
" it was going to be for the day you and I got married"
"You thought about marrying me?" She whisper shouts
"Yes and I still do. Heck I want to be with you now Spencer"
"Toby-
"I still love you. I always have. That day when I said goodbye to you in the barn. I was hoping you would tell me to stay because I didn't want to go. I wanted to stay with you, but you didn't say anything" he said turning her and  her close with her back on him swaying back and forth
"I did what was best for you" she said having him and placing her arms around his neck
"How have you been after finding out Mary and Alex?" He said changing the subject
"Heartbroken but I got over it so I'm okay now"

The two continued dancing as Yvonne
was spying on them. She boiled as she watched her man dance with his ex. When she saw how close they were she stormed over to them, leaving her partner behind
"I'm excuse me, don't you think you're too close with my man" Yvonne spats
"It's a dance, stop being a baby" Spencer argues
"Yvonne please just go" Toby says angrily
"No, we need to leave" she says taking a few steps then stops when she noticed Toby wasn't following
"Did you hear me let's go" she shouts
"You don't tell me what to do"
"Either you leave with me now or it's over Toby. What's it gonna be" she threatened
Toby sighs as he lets go of Spencer and walks to Yvonne
"I got a promotion back here In Rosewood, im taking the Job and breaking up with you. You can leave" he says lowly. He turned around and went back to Spencer and Yvonne left and cried silently
"I cant believe you did that" Spencer laughed
Toby cupped her face and kissed her deeply for the first time in 9 months. After 10 more seconds they pulled away slowly and looked in each other eyes
"I love you Spencer"
"I love you too" she kisses back.
"Be mine again" he smirks
"Of course."
They continued dancing until the music was over.
Once the music was over, they went back to Spencer barn and enjoyed each other.
