Toby's POV
"Hey Tobes, are you busy today?" Spencer ask on the phone
"Actually I am, I made an appointment to see the doctor today"
"Oh, what's wrong, are you okay? Do you want me to come with you?" She ask kindly.
"No, thats okay, and I'm fine, it's just that something is wrong with my heart"
"What? Toby no I'm coming, what if you are really sick" she worrries
I laugh at her kindness to come and be with me "If anything is wrong, you will be the first person I'll call" I tell her
"Hmmm, okay then, please call me okay?"
"I promise, I will pick you up later, bye babe" I said before hanging up.
"Oh I'm gonna be late" I said looking at my watch before running out the door. I get in my car and drive to the doctors.

When I get there I go up to the front desk and there was a older woman behind it
"Hi, I have an appointment" I tell her
"Name?" she said not looking up from the computer
"Toby Cavanaugh"
She types something on the computer before looking up at me
"Please sit, the doctor will be here with you shortly" she says and goes back to typing.
I sit down and wait for him. I think I'm starting to have heart problems, but that's not only it, I get sweaty and my heart beats and skips a beat and I get a little nervous. This never happened. I don't know ever since I met Spencer 9 months ago, I've been feeling very weird.
"Toby Cavanaugh?" I looked up and the doctor motions me to go with him.
When we get it, I sit on the bed and he closes the door and comes to me
"So what's seems to be the problem Mr. Cavanaugh?"
Well for a while now, my body has been acting funny. My heart beats fast, and skips beats. Then I get very sweaty and nervous" I tell him and he writes stuff down on his board
"Hmm I see". He puts his stethoscope on and places the metal part on my chest and takes it off and sits down
"When exactly did this start happening?" he ask
"9 months ago when I started dating my girlfriend, well somewhere within the nine months, you could say"
The doctors stifles a laugh and smiled
"What's so funny?" I asked angrily
"Have you ever been in love?" He sits back and folds his arms
"No Spencer is my first girlfriend"
"Well you said this all started after dating your girlfriend for a few months right,?"
I nod my head
"Do you think about her everyday?"
I nod
"Do you smile everytime she's in the room"
I nod again
"Do you get that tingly feeling in your toes and body when you look at her?"
I nod again
"How do you feel when you kiss her?"
"I feel all amazing, my heart skips a beat and I want to keep kissing her forever" I shyly smile "Is this what love feels like?" I ask
This time he nods
"So nothing is wrong, I'm just in love"
He nods again

When I leave I take my phone out to call Spencer
She picks up after the 2 ring
"Hey babe what's up? How was the doctor? Are you sick? Are you okay?" She ask in worry
"I'm fine, great actually, lets go out and eat, my treat, I'll pick you up in a few okay"
"I'm glad you are okay, and sure let's go, I'll get ready now, see you in a few" she says and hangs up.
Today is the day I'll tell her, that I love her. I thought about it as I drive. Everything I said to the doctor was true, this is what love feels like. I love Spencer Hastings. But the more important question is.....
Does she love me as well???

"Hey" she says getting in the passenger seat and kiss me
"Hey yourself, you look amazing" I complimented her.
"Aww thanks you're so sweet". I drive over to this New Italian restaurant that's just 10 minuets outside of Rosewood. We get out and we head inside and sat down
"Toby this is all amazing, what's the special occasion?" She smirks.
I gulp and take a deep breath. Its now or never. I take the chair from across from her and put it next to her
"Spencer" I started by taking my hand
"Tobes" she smiles
"I...I love you" I said.
She suddenly grabs my face and kisses me passionately and I returned. After like 3 minuets she pulls away slowly
"I love you too" she smiles back.
